Merry Christmas from my Beach to Yours!! - Kitchen Sink Stamps

I'm CERTAIN this never happens at your house, but it has happened again to me this year. Just when I get all my Christmas cards created, signed, addressed, and mailed, here comes another one from an unexpected  source.

So while I thought my Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored card today would be one celebrating the New Year, instead I am still cranking out Christmas cards.

Today's card features images from Palm Trees, Christmas Lights, and Christmas Poinsettia (the sentiment).

I will be celebrating Christmas with my little "core" family at the beach again this year. We have grown by two members in 2022: a fiance' for granddaughter#2 and a precious baby boy for granddaughter #1 and her husband).   What fun awaits!!

CCEE2250 - Time Marches On!

 Hi Crafty Friends

Welcome to our final CCEE Stampers challenge.

Before we get to Maryann's challenge below, Frances B, our fearless leader wanted to update you about our challenge group.

"Sadly I have to let you know, that this will be our final challenge on the CCEE blog. After over 15 years of lots of fun challenges, it's time to say goodbye! I was fortunate to be one of the foundation members of this challenge group, which started in July 2007 over on Splitcoaststampers ... there were eight of us. We called ourselves ... Cheers & Challenges Eclectic Ensemble which later got shortened to CCEE Stampers. When we first started our challenge group, there weren't many if any others around. Now there are thousands. We have had a lot of fun over the years, and a big thanks to all our current Design Team members for playing along each week and taking turns issuing the challenges each month.

Thank you also for those of you who have also played along with us over the years, we love that you play along with us.

Okay ... now let's get to Maryann's final challenge for 2022."

Time is counting down to the end of the year, so I am asking that you card feature clocks on your card. Think of time clocks, stop watches or even a countdown clock anything to do with time.

Wishing you all a Merry and Safe Christmas and New Year.

My card was created using Grandfather's Pocket Watch by Kitchen Sink Stamps, a sentiment from Wave of Inspiration by Stampin' Up, and a gear stencil from The Crafter's Companion.

Here are the final CCEE creations from the current design team:

Kitchen Sink Stamps Thanksgiving Sale!!

If you plan on doing some crafty bargain shopping this week, Kitchen Sink Stamps has got a sale for you!! Here are the details:

What a great opportunity for you to snap up those items on your KSS wish list. The 20% off is good on ALL in stock items today through midnight Saturday.

Visit the store and start adding the stamps to your cart that you have been wanting for your Kitchen Sink Stamps collection. What creative fun you will have with these amazing images!! Remember to enter code: THANKFUL at checkout!

My Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design today is another Christmas card, as promised. It's pretty unusual for me to create a card using just one KSS set but the Christmas Poinsettia has everything needed to make this classic holiday design.

I first created the background with Distress Ink Oxides by Ranger and silver and white acrylic splatters. After it had dried, I stamped the pine boughs directly on the card front while the poinsettia, leaves, and pinecones were stamped on SVG cut files and glued over the pine.

Thank you so much for dropping in for a visit today! I wish you and those you love a blessed Thanksgiving!

This card has been entered in the following challenges this week:

Fun Folds - CCEE2245

Mary Ann, our November CCEE Stampers Hostess, has another great challenge for us today! She says, "Receiving cards is so much fun, a fun fold card with a wow factor gives so much joy to the recipient." She has therefore asked the CCEE Stampers to create a card with more than a center fold. Think of a easel, pop-up, center step or shutter card.

I have created this oval flip card for my new great grandson! I used the Dancin' Santa (his legs swing back and forth) dies from Spellbinders and this fun sentiment from Rubberneckers. I "think" the Naughty or Nice dies are also from Spellbinders. The designer paper is from the Paper Studio.

CCEE2244 - Silhouettes

Maryann Einam, our CCEE Stampers challenge hostess says,I love the simplicity of the a silhouette, and a lot of companies have them whether they are stamps or dies." She has requested that this week the CCEE Stampers create a card with a beautiful silhouette. She says it can be a scene or a stand-alone image.

Well, I LOVE silhouettes and love creating with them. Since I am WAY behind on my Christmas cards this year, I have made 10 copies of this card to add to my stash. This design was created using Tim Holtz Vault Series: Christmas 2021 while the sentiment is from Joyful Song by The Project Bin.

CCEE2242 - International Animation Day

Lynn McAuley here with the final CCEE Stampers Challenge for October.

Friday is International Animation Day. What joyful and action-packed entertainment has filled our lives through the talented creations of the world's amazing animators. In honor these animators' remarkable work, choose one of your favorite animated characters to feature on this week's CCEE design. How fabulous would it be if you included the name of the animator who created your character!

I have gone with the King of Animation, Walt Disney and his classic characters, Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

This card has no stamping. It was created with a Disney die cut called Romantic Stroll. The sentiment was created with a die from Momenta. I attached them to a 3-D embossed heart panel.

Let's see what animation characters the rest of the team features:

Slimline Crayon Thanks - Kitchen Sink Stamps

I'm still getting birthday gifts, so I need to mail out more thanks to friends and family. Today's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored slimline design is a thank you card featuring images from Watercolor Thanks and Back to School Supplies.

I only stamped layer one of the Watercolor Thanks because I wanted it to look like the red crayon had been used to write it. I can't begin to tell you how much fun I am having with the Back to School Supplies.

CCEE2239 - National Bring Your Bible to School Day

Lynn McAuley here to kick off the month of October with new challenges for the CCEE Stampers.

In the United States, today is National Bring Your Bible to School Day. For that reason, our challenge for this week is quite simple: use a Bible scripture as the sentiment on the front of your card design.

My card features the 23rd Psalm stamp from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps which I often use on sympathy designs. It was stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturn ink over the layered mountain and pines stencil by Altenew. The Cloud stencil is by A Colorful Life Designs. The texture on the card front was stamped with a background stamp from Impression Obsession.

Below are the beautiful creations from our design team members, and the wonderful scriptures they have chosen to use with their stunning designs:

Butterflies - Kitchen Sink Stamps

STAMPtember has come to an end over at Simon Says Stamp and many of you were able to grab up Butterfly Kisses before it sold out. I thought for today's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored designs I would show a few quick and easy ways to put your new set to good use.

This first example is a table decoration using the butterfly with a Mason Jar. I just hot glued a rainbow colored braid around the jar and popped up a couple of butterflies in colors on the braid over the top of it. I had more than a dozen of there ready for a church event in less than 30 minutes. I had butterflies and flowers in all the colors found in the braid.

Next is the simple 5 x 7 card with a stenciled fern background and two blue butterflies. The SVG cut file for this Kitchen Sink Stamps stencil can be found here.

This last 5 x 7 card is made with a yellow butterfly popped up over a gorgeous piece of Graphic 45 paper from the Blossom Collection.

Those of you who were not able to get Butterfly Kisses before it sold out, can purchase instead Butterflies which includes a larger unique butterfly as well as this one which is slightly smaller than the one in Butterfly Kisses. Take a look and I think you will see that you can get similar results using any of your favorite sentiments with the beautiful butterflies in this set.
