CCEE2213 - No Housework Day

Our April CCEE Challenge hostess, Liz Williams has asked the CCEE Stampers to celebrate “NO HOUSEWORK DAY” by spending the day in our stamp rooms designing a “Free for All” card with the theme of our choice. She said, "Have fun," and I sure did.

This card is going to a friend (not naming any names here) to give him a chuckle! This card shows him at his favorite place taking part in his favorite sport! This guy is from Art Impressions. I added a die cut beer bottle in his hand. The hilarious sentiment is from Picket Fence Studios.

Let's see what the rest of the crew chose to create this week:

CCEE2026 - National Bald Eagle Day

CCEE Stampers June hostess, Vicky Gould, has informed us that today is National Bald Eagle Day. In honor of that she has asked that the CCEE Stampers make a card with a bird on it....extra credit if it is a Bald Eagle.

Sadly I gave away all my bald eagle stamps to my granddaughter whose college mascot was the eagle so there will be no bonus for me today!

Instead I have crafted my card using Tim Holtz's Bird Crazy and dies. The designer paper is from Passport by Carta Bella. The sentiment is from Natural State of Sarcasm by Picket Fence Studios.

I wonder what birds the rest of the CCEE Stampers have featured?
Check it out here:

CCEE2009 - Pocket Cards

As Anne's final challenge to the CCEE Stampers for the month of February, she has tasked us with creating pocket cards.  Her instructions were to use any technique to make one.

Well, I have this fun denim pocket image from Deep Red that I felt would make a fun masculine birthday card for a friend. The HEB pull-out gift card will allow him to pick up a six pack of this favorite brew and celebrate BIG!!

The designer paper is from the twilight pack by One Canoe Two and the sentiment is from My Man, My Friend by Picket Fence Studios.

Non-Traditional Masculine Valentine - CCEE2007

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day and also the birthday of our February CCEE Hostess, Anne Harmon's sweet husband.  In honor of both of these events, Anne has asked the CCEE Stampers to make a masculine Valentine in non-traditional colors (no RED or pink).

The designer paper on my card is from Country Kitchen by Carta Bella.

The bench and couple dies are from Impression Obsession.

The sentiment is from My Man, My Friend by Picket Fence Studios.

The grass die is from Fawn Lawn.

CCEE1948 - Movember

For her final challenge for the CCEE Stampers this month, hostess Frances Bryne has asked that we create a card to focus on Movember. November is also known as Movember which is a time to celebrate and raise funds for male issues. So for this month we are to include a Moustache (Mo) on our card in some way. Hint ... if you are busy making Christmas cards, Santa has a moustache!!!!

Die cut Santa and reindeer are from Cool Yule by Sizzix. The sentiment die Merry Christmas is from Impression Obsession. The stamped sentiment is from My Man, My Friend by Picket Fence Studios.

Let's see the moustaches the rest of the team added to their cards this week:

CCEE1935 - Card of Encouragement

August CCEE hostess, Anne Harmon, has challenged the CCEE Stampers to each create a card of encouragement and put it in the mail to a friend.

Thank you, Anne, for all the fabulous challenges this month. It has been fun creating them all!

The image on my card comes from the set Substance of Things by Unity.

The sentiment comes from the set Weathering the Storm by Picket Fence Studios.

Linked here are the encouragement cards by the CCEE DT.

CCEE1934 - Fancy Folds

For her next-to-last challenge, CCEE August hostess, Anne Harmon has asked us to create a design with a fancy fold. She said, " Use whatever fancy fold that takes your fancy!!"

This is the front of my card. All images on the front are from Kitchen Sink Stamps.

And this is the inside where the "fancy" is hidden! The sentiment is from Picket Fence and the fruit stickers are from the Paper Studio.
