CCEE2025 - Youth Day

CCEE Stampers June hostess, Vicky Gould, has asked us to celebrate youth  this week by creating a card for a child or for that someone you know who is always "young at heart!"

I am sharing  with you this princess birthday side step card, but can't tell you just yet which "princess" it is going to. Looks like I'll need to make a repair before dropping it in the mail. I see I knocked off one of the jewels while I was photographing the card.

Here are links to the cards created by the other members of the CCEE DT:

Liz Williams
Frances Byrne
Maryann Einam

Today is also the beginning of quick peeks at the six new sets being released by Kitchen Sink Stamps on Monday, June 22. They are all fabulous, but this one just might be my favorite! So many awesome uses!

Check back tomorrow for a snippet of one of the other new sets!!

Cake - The Project Bin

This pink birthday card sponsored by The Project Bin was created using their newly released set called Defined. In past weeks I have used this versatile set to create a Mother's Day card and a Father's Day card, and this week I am in need of a birthday card for a friend. What could be more perfect than this fun cake sentiment from this delightful set?

I cut the cake from a piece of pink card stock and the plate from white card stock. I then added the decorative embellishments and glued the cake to the designer paper. The sentiment was the final thing added using Memento Rhubarb Stalk ink. This is a 5.5 x 5.5 inch square card.

CCEE2001 - It's June in January

Welcome to a new year of creative stamping with the CCEE Stampers. Lynn McAuley here as hostess for all of January now that 2020 has arrived!

Some of our fans may not realize that two of our CCEE Stampers Design Team Members, Frances Byrne and Maryann Einam, are living down under in Australia. Their seasons are the exact opposite of ours. They have always gone with the flow and designed cards to conform to our climate. Let’s turn the tables this week and make some summery cards they can put to use right now! Bring on the heat!

Let's also remember the citizens of Australia with prayers for rain as they continue to battle on against the unyielding wildfires that have spread across much of Australia in recent months.

Another Birthday Rollin' In

I designed today's card for Splitcoaststampers' Sketch Challenge 699. It has been a long time since I have pulled out my House-Mouse collection, but it's not because I don't love them!! The truth of the matter is I don't love coloring, but will do it when needed to use an adorable stamp like this!!

The image is called Slow Riders and copyrighted by House-Mouse Designs and made by Stampendous!

CCEE1819 - Red

Our sweet hostess, Anne Harmon, has a birthday on Saturday! She has asked the CCEE Stampers to make her happy by using some RED on our cards!

Well, here it is Anne! I hope your birthday is the happiest EVER!!

There is no stamping on my card this week. I used a white card base and attached two red die cuts. The birthday parade is called Party Kids and is by Spellbinders. The Wishing You a Happy Birthday is by Die'sire.

If you would like to see how the rest of the CCEE Stampers used red, click the links below!

National Candied Orange Peel Day

Lois Bak is starting her month as hostess for the CCEE challenges and she has found a truly weird celebration to start off the month.  May 4th is National Candied Orange Peel Day.  To celebrate, she has asked that the CCEE Stampers include the color ORANGE (which just happens to be one of her favorites!) on our cards.

CCEE1703 - Black and Cream

This week our CCEE hostess, Vicky Gould, has requested that we create black and cream (ivory) cards.  We could use die cuts, punches, or stamps as long as the cards are black and cream!

My card was created for a very special friend who turned 105 last Saturday! How awesome is that?

CCEE1624 - Happy Birthday!

Today is the birthday of the sister of our June CCEE Stampers hostess, Vicky.  In honor of her sister's birthday, Vicky has asked us to show her some birthday cards....something we can all stock up on!

We celebrated a birthday in our family this week as well. My youngest granddaughter turned 18 so it is official: We are all adults in this family!

Here is the card I created for her using images from Stampin' Up.

Circles, Circles Everywhere!! CCEE1545

Our November CCEE hostess, Frances, has us running around in circles this week! I went with a fun easy way to use up scraps to make a bright and colorful birthday card! I hope you like it. I punched  circles in all colors and sizes and glued them to my black front panel before embossing it with my circle embossing folder. Lastly, I added a sentiment and bow to create this simple birthday design.

Check out these other fabulous circle designs by the CCEE Team and then play along!!
