CCEE1826 - Relaxation

CCEE Hostess, Joanne Grzelak, has chosen RELAXATION as her final theme for the month of June.  She said, "Create a card that depicts RELAXATION to you.  Can be a place where you are relaxed or what you do to relax."

LMS073- Under the Dogwood Tree - KSS

The fourth Monday of June brings with it the chance for me to create another scene for you using some of Kitchen Sink Stamps' newest released images: Enchanted Dogwood Multi Step Clear Stamps and Words 4 Celebrating Clear Stamps. I have mixed with them images from Tree Friends Multi Step Clear Stamps, grass from Honey Bunny Multi Step Clear Stamps, and a word die cut from Hero Arts.

I am entering this card in the Stamping Sensations' June Challenge - Anything Goes as long as stamping is the center point of attention and interest. I sure hope the stamping catches your attention!

I stamped this scene with the large branch of dogwood blossoms across the top in the foreground to create the depth and distance back to the dogwood tree and bench. I have done this before as in the card seen here where I put the large flowers at the bottom forefront for the same reason. The front dogwood on this card was fussy cut and popped up on dimensionals.

Seaside Challenge - CCEE1825

"As many of you know, the ocean is my favorite place….and my annual trip to Maine is sacred.  So, in honor of that, please create a card inspired by the ocean or beaches," declared Joanne Grzelak, our CCEE Stampers' hostess for this week's challenge.

Like Joanne, I absolutely love everything nautical or beach related. I blended two Stampin' Up sets, Wetlands and High Tide, with my Ranger Distress Oxides to create this card.

Linked below are the oceanside beauties created by the other members of the CCEE Design Team. Won't you join us and play along in this weeks beach challenge?

CCEE1824 - Spring Flowers

Joanne, our June CCEE hostess, says that spring came late to her neck of the woods so they are still enjoying the blooming of flowers. She asked that the CCEE Stampers create cards with lots of flowers.

I did not get over to East Texas this spring, so I didn't get to see the amazing dogwood trees in bloom. But since I got my new dogwood stamps, I am making up for that! I cannot seem to put them down! So even though you got to see them as virgin stamps last week, I am using them again. This time for a sympathy card. The flower images are from Kitchen Sink Stamps set called Enchanted Dogwood Multi Step Clear Stamps and the sentiment is an Impression Obsession die.

Head over and see the beautiful flowers used by the CCEE Stampers Design Team.

Then get out your favorite flowers and join in the fun!

LMS072 Inside Shadow Box Card

Lynn here with another Let's Make a Scene design sponsored by Kitchen Sink Stamps using their newly released Enchanted Dogwood Multi Step Clear Stamps. I also used KSS Trees Multi Step Clear Stamps as well as sentiments from Words 4 Celebrating Clear Stamps. My card today was inspired by Jennifer McGuire's June 4, 2018 post in which she shared a video tutorial describing the construction of an inside shadow box card. It was truly easy to create with her clear and concise directions. Thank you, Jennifer!! Check it out and give it a try!! You won't be sorry!

It takes one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock to create this card cut in half either direction depending on which way you want the card to open.

You might remember another style shadow box I have used in the past. Both styles are fun to make and loved by those who receive them!

I am entering this card on the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge Blog in their June Anything Goes Challenge.

You might remember another style shadow box I have used in the past.

Joanne Grzelak has taken the reins as hostess for the CCEE Stampers for the month of June. She said, "I don’t think  I am the only one with unused, or ‘virgin’, stamps.  This week I want you to go through your stash and ink those virgins to create this week’s card."

Well, as luck would have it, yesterday Kitchen Sink Stamps released three new stamp sets and my virgin dogwoods are seeing ink for the very first time for CCEE Challenge 1823.

The Daffodils are Up!! KSS

I hope that you will agree with me that good things are worth the wait! Today's card sponsored by Kitchen Sink Stamps features two of their newest sets being released today. Spring Daffodils Multi Step Clear Stamps is a delightful set that includes the frog and the dragonfly along with the group of daffodils. The new sentiment set, Words 4 Celebrating Clear Stamps has an awesome blend of words that can be mixed and matched in so many creative ways!! And who doesn't love that gorgeous script font?

In addition to these two new sets, I also used an old favorite: Basket Multi Step Clear StampsYou know I love putting things in baskets (like mistletoe) as seen here. And of course, my go to grass is from Honey Bunny Multi Step Clear Stamps.

I do use the MISTI which allows for perfect restamping with my layered stamps.

I am entering this card in The Paper Players PP396 - A Theme Challenge from Joanne  Animal Antics.

For my color recipes I list the layers in the order I stamped them along with the color.

Color Recipe for the Daffodils:

The designer paper is Dots and Plaid by Echo Park.
The die cut hand is by Impression Obsession.
The die cut bracelet is from Elizabeth Craft Designs.
I added a tiny rhinestone for a ring and a couple of strips
of grosgrain ribbon to finish off the card.

Using the same papers and color recipes I created this card for today's

Sketch Challenge 700 over on Splitcoaststampers.

In addition to these two wonderful sets, Kitchen Sink Stamps is also
releasing Multi Step Enchanted Dogwood today.
