Two Celebrations - Kitchen Sink Stamps

There are two celebrations going on in my life this week! The first one is my youngest granddaughter's birthday She and her sweet husband have just returned from a Greek honeymoon so I have decided to create a Texas beach card for her big day! Our beaches don't compare to those on the Mediterranean Sea, but I hope she will get a kick out of it.

This Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design uses images from the following sets:

Summer Splashes

Beachcomber's Bounty

Make a Big Statement

Rubber Ducky

I folded a scrap of designer paper to create the towel and added some sticker jewels to embellish the flip flops!

This card has been entered in the following challenge:

Cardz 4 Galz - Challenge #227 - Summer Fun

The second celebration, of course, is Father's Day. My dad has always delighted in putting out the American flag on this front porch on patriotic holidays. At 95 years old, he is no longer able to manage that trip up the ladder. As part of his Father's Day gift this year, my sister and I have enrolled him in the "Lease a Flag" Program sponsored by a local Boy Scout Troop.  They will place a flag in his front yard the week of every patriotic holiday throughout the year! I think he will love his gift!!
Below is the card I have created to let him know about his gift.

It was created with Stars & Stripes American Flag and Bold Holiday Greetings by Kitchen Sink Stamps.

This card was entered in the following challenge:

Hello Sunshine

I haven't used any of my adorable House-Mouse images is a good while, so decided to choose one to use for the SCS Sketch Challenge today. I mounted the image on a treasured piece of Graphic 45 paper from the Tropical Travelogue Collection. I watercolored the image using my SU reinkers. The sentiment is from Verve.

In addition to SC1013 at Splitcoaststampers, I have also entered this card in the House-Mouse Challenge #416 - Anything Goes.

Sea & Sand - Kitchen Sink Stamps

Texas temperatures are now in the 90s so, of course, my mind is headed to the beach! Today's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design features images from Lighthouse, Plumeria, Sailboats, Isle of Big Bay Lake, and sentiments from Beachcomber's Bounty!

I first stamped the Isle of Big Bay Lake on the blue card front and then added the torn paper land. After stamping the lighthouse, sailboat, and plumeria on cut SVG files, I attached them to the card front and added the sentiment.

I am entering this card in the following challenges this week:

Make My Monday - Challenge #227 - B is for..... (I chose beach)
