CCEE2048 - Tie One On Day

For our last CCEE challenge for November, hostess Kelly McKown-Santi is centering the challenge around November 24 which is Tie One On Day which honors Thanksgiving, cooking, and wearing an apron. She has asked the CCEE Stampers to create a card featuring an apron as the focal point OR any TIED element like ribbons, bow, twine or ropes.

I have gone with a bow. This delightful gingham bow is actually a sneak peek at an image which is part of a set being released on Monday by Kitchen Sink Stamps. I was absolutely tickled pick by how cute it stamps! The sentiment is from All Year Grapevine Wreath, also by Kitchen Sink Stamps.

The designer paper is from the Paper Studio.
The elf die cut is from Santa's Helper by Tim Holtz.

Check out what the rest of the design team used to "Tie One On."

Thanksgiving Blessings - Kitchen Sink Stamps

Although this Thanksgiving will look decidedly different from those in the past, the blessings of this year have indeed been bountiful! Thanks be to God!

For today's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design I have created a Thanksgiving card for my son and his wife. They have recently moved to the country and see sights like this one just outside their windows (except for the mountains) everyday! We won't be together on that day, but hope to connect on Zoom!

To create this card I have chosen images from the following Kitchen Sink Stamps sets:

Kelly McKown-Santi, our CCEE Stampers November challenge hostess, has a super fun assignment for us today! She says that November 1st was National Men Make Dinner Day. In honor of men who love to cook, Kelly has asked the CCEE Stampers to create cards which showcase men as chefs!

My card was created with Grillmaster from Cricut Design Space. The designer paper is Grab and Go by American Crafts while the sentiment was created with my much loved We R Memory Keepers Word Punch.

Shadow and No Line Stamping - The Project Bin

I have just returned from Northern Georgia when I attended the wedding of my oldest granddaughter in Cloudland Canyon State Park. What a remarkable place for an outdoor wedding. The beauty that I experienced there was the inspiration for today's card sponsored by The Project Bin.

I used their New Leaf autumn set paired with designer paper by Bo Bunny, dotted oval dies, and a jute bow. Below the card are photos of the view down into the canyon.

I shadow stamped the sentiment using Chocolate Chip and Pumpkin Pie ink by Stampin' Up. I used no-line stamping on the pumpkin. It was stamped with Memento Dessert Sand and then watercolored with Stampin' Up reinkers in Marigold Morning, Really Rust, Lemon Lime Twist, and Lucky Limeade.

SCS Falliday Fest 2020 - Triple Fold Card

Today is opening day of Splitcoaststampers annual Falliday Fest! What better way to spend this time at home than having fun learning new crafting tricks and sharing with crafters who enjoy doing the same.

Today's Kitchen Sink sponsored card was created using the Triple Fold Card design based on this wonderful tutorial by Mary Bush. It's easy and fun!

I have used images and SVG files from Kitchen Sink Stamps' new All Year Grapevine Wreath and Fall Chrysanthemums. The designer paper is Autumn Splendor by Simple Stories. The labels are Sizzix die cuts.

These are the color recipes I used to create these images
using Stampin' Up inks.

Wreath
1 Creamy Caramel
2 Close to Cocoa
3 Baked Brown Sugar
4 Soft Suede

Chrysanthemums
1 Barely Banana
2 Apricot Appeal
3 Marigold Morning
4 Mango Melody
5 Peekaboo Peach
6 Barely Banana

Bow
1 Marigold Morning
2 Pumpkin Pie
3 Only Orange
4 Really Rust

The sentiment was stamped with SU Chocolate Chip and the edges sponged with SU Really Rust.

I used Kitchen Sink Stamps for two other challenges over at Splitcoaststampers in the past few days that I haven't shared here yet. The first one was for the Featured Stamper Challenge on Sunday. It was based on this card by rdm and uses the KSS Guitar. The designer paper is World Map by Gartner Studio. The music sentiment was cut using Cricut Design Space while the journey is the destination is a Tim Holtz sticker from Small Talk.

This next card also used the All Year Grapevine Wreath and the Fall Chrysanthemums and was created for the Free4All Challenge. The designer paper is by BasicGrey.
