Masculine Birthdays
I needed a couple of masculine birthday cards for family members this week so here is what I came up with.
This 5x7 card was created using dies from Spellbinders glued to an old calendar page.
While this card used Mini Musical Instruments dies by Spellbinders, Essentiaal Sentiment Strips Die Set by Altenew, and designer paper by Graphics 45.

Midnight Tales - Graphic 45

You & Me & the Sea
Today's card was created using Sketch 1026 from Splitcoaststampers. It was created with some of my hoarded Graphic 45 papers from the Ocean Blue Collection. The beach babe is a die from Spellbinders but I used two circle punches to create a smaller hat so as not to cover the sentiment. The sweet little sand dollars were created with a very old, but treasured die from Cuttlebug.

Hello Sunshine
I haven't used any of my adorable House-Mouse images is a good while, so decided to choose one to use for the SCS Sketch Challenge today. I mounted the image on a treasured piece of Graphic 45 paper from the Tropical Travelogue Collection. I watercolored the image using my SU reinkers. The sentiment is from Verve.
In addition to SC1013 at Splitcoaststampers, I have also entered this card in the House-Mouse Challenge #416 - Anything Goes.

CCEE2041 - World Octopus Day
October hostess, Frances Byrne, has informed the CCEE Stampers that today is World Octopus Day! She has therefore declared that the CCEE Stampers should include an octopus or other sea animal on this week's cards.
I searched my collection high and low to see if I could come up with an octopus. Turns out I have no octopus stamps or die cuts, but look what I found in my Graphic 45 tub!! These papers are from their By the Sea collection and work perfectly for World Octopus Day, if I do say so myself!

CCEE2040 - Mad Hatter Day
It's a brand new month for the CCEE Stampers, and our challenge hostess for the month is Frances Byrne.
Apparently the 6th October is Mad Hatter Day, so for our challenge this week create a card inspired by the theme … Hats, Alice In Wonderland, Mad Hatter.
I have combined some of my treasured Graphic 45 paper from the Hallowe'en in Wonderland Collection and a die cut from the Cricut Design Space. I added a bow and a couple of metal charms.
Let's see what the CCEE Stampers' Design Team members were inspired to create:

CCEE2017 - Interactive Cards
Anyone who knows me, knows that I avoid them as much as I possibly can. It seems that no matter how carefully I measure, cut, and fold something is always off just a bit which keeps the card for working properly.
I purchased the Karen Burniston Photo Collage Pop-Up dies over a year ago and have used them only once. And not very successfully, I must say. So today I watched this You Tube video over and over and over until I was able to construct the pop-up structure and get it to work correctly. Below is the Christmas card I ended up designing.
Front of the Card
Inside of the Card
The designer paper is by the Paper Studio and the dies are from Sizzix. The Oh what fun sentiment is by Stampin' Up.
As luck would have it, I attended a Zoom card making event this afternoon hosted by Stampin' Up demonstrator Andi Fazioli and learned another interactive card. I had a lot of fun with this design as well. I chose papers from my favorite paper maker Graphic 45. The inside images are from By the Tide by Stampin' Up and the sentiment is from Hen & Chicks by Power Poppy. I used various punches and dies to create the frilly embellishment behind the 3¢ stamp.
I am entering this card in:

CCEE1950 - Santa through the Window
For our last challenge, I am asking that you create a card which has a window. It will then be your choice on whether you want to be peeking IN on Santa or peeking OUT at Santa. I can't wait to look through your window to spy on Santa. Have fun!!
Let's peek in or out of the windows on the CCEE DT's cards:

CCEE1829 - National Zookeepers' Week
Back in the day when I was a young mother, one of the first trips I planned during the summer break from school was a day at the zoo for my son and his cousins. We all loved watching the crazy antics of the animals. This week in honor of zookeepers' week, I am challenging you all to include at least one (more if you want) zoo animal on your card.
Those of you who choose to share your card in an online gallery, please include the keyword CCEE1829.
I have used Lil' Elephant Multi Step Clear Stamps and for the grass Honey Bunny Multi Step Clear Stamps both by Kitchen Sink Stamps to complete this challenge. The designer paper is graphic 45 safari adventure.
Color Recipe for the elephant:
Layer 4 - Memento Tuxedo Black
Layer 3 - Memento London Fog
Layer 2 - SU Gray Granite
Layer 1 - SU Going Gray

CCEE1820 - Pack Rat
So I went into my craft vault and pulled out some of the most prized paper in my vast collection. Of course, it is Graphic 45. The paper is Leading Ladies from the Curtain Call Collection. What could be more divine?
I have let it be the star of the show on today's card. No stamping here; just a die cut sentiment from Die'sire.
Let's take a look at the papers the rest of the CCEE Designers have been hoarding!!

Because of You - SC418
Today's design was created for Sketch Challenge 418 over at Splitcoaststampers. This anniversary card is for a certain husband I know who needs a hand-made card for his crafty wife in a couple of weeks. I bet she will be surprised that he came up with one just for her!!
