Christmas in July - Kitchen Sink Stamps

The Clean and Simple Challenge over on Splitcoaststampers today allowed me to use one of the fun digital sentiments from Kitchen Sink Stamps' 2022 KSS Holiday A2 Card Kit which has so many wonderful sentiments for foiling or for digital printing on my Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design for this week. Since I haven't taken on foiling yet, I printed the sentiment strip on my computer and mounted in on the card front over a panel of gold glitter paper.

The poinsettia and leaves were stamped on SVG cut files available for use with Christmas Poinsettia and layered on top.

This card has also been entered in the following challenges this week:

Double Trouble - Challenge #143 - Christmas in July

Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog - Challenge #30 - Stencils and/or Christmas in July + a Sentiment

Get Creative Challenges - Challenge #123 - Christmas in July

Night Owls - Creation - Beautiful - Challenge #26 - In 6 Months it will be Christmas Again

Summer Pleasures - Kitchen Sink Stamps

This clean and simple one layer card, sponsored by Kitchen Sink Stamps, was created using images from two of the newest KSS releases - Fishing Creel & Reel Multi Step Clear Stamps and Fisherman's Hat and Tackle Multi Step Clear Stamps. The sentiment is a part of the Berries Multi Step Clear Stamps set.

This card was stamped directly on the cardfront with the fisherman's hat being stamped first.

After the hat was completed, I masked it and stamped the creel. I added a mask for the creel before completing the card.

To finish the card, I added the fly, the float, the grass, and the sentiment before removing the masks.

The responses I received about my new visual color recipes were all positive so I plan to continue adding them to my posts. They are very helpful to me, as well as my readers, for future reference.  The color recipes I have posted below are the ones I used to complete this design.

Fisherman's Hat

Fishing Creel

Fishing Fly

Fishing Float

The grass was brushed on with SU Certainly Celery and the sentiment was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black.

I am entering this card in the following challenges today:

SCS Queen for the Day 109 and a couple of peeks!

My card today was stamped in honor of Sue N. who has been crowned Queen for the Day at Splitcoaststampers. The very first card I cased at SCS came from the amazing gallery of suen!

My sunflower design using Sunflowers Multi Step Clear Stamps and Words of Comfort & Joy Clear Stamps by Kitchen Sink Stamps is a case of Sue's gorgeous Blushing Flowers.

With Monday being the date of the big reveal for Kitchen Sink's newest stamp sets, I am including a couple of quick sneak peeks. Check back on Monday to see all 4 of the fabulous new sets!!

KSS Ten Minute Challenge - Spring Flowers over Script

My absolute favorite clean and simple designs are single layer cards with beautiful layers of ink as the only embellishment. I have therefore designed this week's Kitchen Sink Stamps 10 Minute Challenge using beautiful spring blossoms over a script background. I think today's design really lets the rich beauty of these stamps take center stage! The keyword is 10MC65 for those sharing a sample with us in the Kitchen Sink Gallery.

Because I wanted height on my flowers to lift them above the script, I used the stem of the lilac for all of the blossoms on this set of notecards.
