CCEE1822 - Embossing Folders

For her final May challenge for the CCEE Stampers, hostess Anne Harmon has asked us to showcase our embossing folders in this week's designs.

I looked through mine and found this one by Darice that I had never used before. I cut out the inside of the window and added a curtain and wallpaper behind the space. I then threw on a couple of bottle stickers on the window sill and a die cut potted plant by Spellbinders on the shelf below the window. The sentiment is from Unity.

See how the rest of the team
worked their embossing folders

Another Birthday Rollin' In

I designed today's card for Splitcoaststampers' Sketch Challenge 699. It has been a long time since I have pulled out my House-Mouse collection, but it's not because I don't love them!! The truth of the matter is I don't love coloring, but will do it when needed to use an adorable stamp like this!!

The image is called Slow Riders and copyrighted by House-Mouse Designs and made by Stampendous!

CCEE1821 - NEWS

CCEE May hostess, Anne Harmon, wakes up every morning to the NEWS.  She said to the CCEE Stampers, "Make a card using each of these letters ..... N, E, W, S."

Here is what I came up with!

N = Nation
E = Embossing
W = Words
S = Star

How did the rest of the CCEE Stampers use these letters? Let's see!!

Texas Father's Day - KSS

I have been making a real effort of late to get my act together and be ready for things well ahead of time for a change. One of my huge character flaws is my tendency to procrastinate which can be a real problem when unexpected  events get thrown into the mix. And around my house, unexpected is often the word of the day!

Therefore, today's card sponsored by Kitchen Sink Stamps is my Father's Day card, and it is ready for that big celebration a full month early. Fortunately for me, I have also recently organized all of my completed cards into theme bins and will file this card immediately into "Special Days" so I won't lose it before the day arrives!!

The Kitchen Sink stamp sets I have featured are:

CCEE1820 - Pack Rat

Anne Harmon is really pushing the CCEE Stampers to the limit this week by asking us to use some of our favorite  hoarded designer paper to create a card for this week's challenge.

So I went into my craft vault and pulled out some of the most prized paper in my vast collection. Of course, it is Graphic 45.  The paper is Leading Ladies from the Curtain Call Collection. What could be more divine?

I have let it be the star of the show on today's card. No stamping here; just a die cut sentiment from Die'sire.

Let's take a look at the papers the rest of the CCEE Designers have been hoarding!!

Sweet Thoughts of You - KSS

For today's card sponsored by Kitchen Sink Stamps, I have mixed images from Carnations Multi Step Clear Stamps, Giant Sunflower Multi Step Clear Stamps (ladybug), and Berries Multi Step Clear Stamps (sentiment) to create a card for Splitcoaststampers' Color Challenge. The featured colors for today were Peach Parfait, Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, and Crushed Curry. I think they worked great for both the carnations and the ladybugs, don't you think?

Layer 2 SU Peach Parfait
Layer 3 SU Calypso Coral
Layer 4 SU Calypso Coral stamped 3 times

CCEE1818 - May Flowers

The talented Anne Harmon will be the CCEE Stampers' hostess for the entire month of May.  Since April showers bring May flowers, she has asked in her first challenge for the CCEE Stampers to cover their cards with pretty flowers.

May means we are seeing the last of our beloved bluebonnets here in Texas until spring rolls around again next year. We always hate to see them go!!

The bluebonnet image is from Bluebonnets Multi Step Clear Stamps and the butterfly is from Butterflies Multi Step Clear Stamps by Kitchen Sink Stamps. The sentiment is from Word Art Wednesday.

There are many beautiful flowers to be seen on the CCEE Design Team cards this week:
