WOYWW 226

Thanks so much for dropping in to see my busy desk this week! I am again taking part in Julia Dunnit's What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday and hope you are, too!

October has arrived and with it comes Breast Cancer Awareness throughout the United States. One of the annual cancer events I take part in is Splitcoaststampers' Hope You Can Cling To. The cards made by participants every day in October are mailed to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas to be used by patients and their families.



That is why my desk is an explosion of every pink paper, ribbon, and embellishment I could find and drag out of my stash. I am off to a good start with 4 cards completed today. Three of them are visible on my desk. I hope to have at least 10 finished and in the mail to Houston by Saturday. During last year's event I completed and mailed about 40 cards and hope to best that this year.

KSS 10 Minute Design #86

KSS 10 Minute Monday - Think PInk

Thanks so much for dropping in on this week's 10 Minute KSS Challenge! It's always a thrill when you stop by!

With October being breast cancer awareness month, you had to know that one of the 10 Minute challenges would revolve around PINK! KSS 10 Minute Challenge 41 requires a focus on pink in your design. So use your Kitchen Sink images with pink ink, pink papers, pink ribbon, and any other pink lusciousness you can pile on in 10 minutes.

Hope You Can Cling To Begins!

I am so proud to be working with two wonderful companies who are helping to support Splitcoasterstampers' Hope You Can Cling To by providing prizes to be given away to participants in the event. This wonderful event goes on throughout the month of October with challenges being posted every day. The cards created by those joining in on the fun will be sent to MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas to be used by cancer patients and their families.

Kitchen Sink Stamps - 10 Minute Torn Paper Challenge

Here are the rules for this week's Kitchen Sink 10 Minute Card Challenge.

1. Include torn paper in your design

2. Finish your card in 10 minutes. Remember, the time it takes to gather and organize all papers, inks, and stamps on your clean desktop does not count! That usually takes me another 10 minutes! LOL!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month


I hope you all have taken the opportunity to check out the Hope You Can Cling To Challenges going on at Splitcoaststampers daily throughout the month of October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. The cards created for the challenges are going to M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas for use by the patients there. Many paper crafting companies have joined in with loads of fabulous prizes to be awarded to participants in the challenges. Kitchen Sink Stamps is one of those taking part as a sponsor.
