Holiday Lights - Kitchen Sink Stamps

Last weekend I went hog-wild making a large tub of  holiday lights from the Kitchen Sink Stamps set Christmas Lights 2020 so that I could get serious about creating my Christmas cards for this year. This delightful little set has three different light bulbs and two styles of sockets, as well as a wire stamp which you can use to connect the lights into a string. There are also several tiny one layer light bulbs. What a bargain for $10.50!

For today's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design, I have used the small round bulb and straight socket for the first card and the large bulb and slanted socket for the second! Black cording was used for the wire, framing, and bow. The pine sprigs and sentiments are from Christmas Poinsettia.

For both of these 5 x 7 inch holiday cards, I stamped images from Snowy Pine Trees on a white panel and laid a designer paper oval frame cut from a holiday pad from the Paper Studio over them before adding the sockets and light bulbs. I fussy cut the bulbs and sockets. After gluing them down, I added the black cording and sentiments.

This first card has been entered in the following challenges this week:

As You See It - Challenge #312 - The Most Wonderful Time - Christmas - The festive holiday lights are part of what make this season so magical to me. They are popping up everywhere in my neighborhood!

Happy Holidays - Kitchen Sink Stamps

The turkey and dressing are ready for the oven, but here at my house, the Christmas card bin is almost bare!! I have never been this unprepared for Christmas. For that reason today's Kitchen Sink sponsored design is a slimline holiday design featuring images from Christmas Lights 2020, Icy Pond, Owl & Autumn Moon, Snowy Cabin, and Christmas Poinsettia. The sentiment was embossed with gold, and I added some glittery holly stickers from the Paper Studio. The lights and wires were stamped with Altenew inks.

Autumn Blessings - Kitchen Sink Stamps

Autumn Blessings is today's Kitchen Sink Stamps slimline sponsored design. It was created with images from Kitchen Sink Stamps' Autumn Squirrel (a retired set), Trees, Autumn Greetings, and Turkey Blessings. I ink blended the background with Distress Oxides inks and stamped all of the images on SVG files cut with my Cricuit Joy. All of today's images were stamped with Altenew dye inks. Although the squirrel is retired, I couldn't resist throwing one on the card since I feed them peanuts everyday here at my house!

Crafty Calendar Challenge - November - Anything Goes

Creative Fingers Challenge Blog - Challenge #265 - Anything Goes
