Beautiful poinsettias of every hue are filling the shelves at my local gardening centers. Today's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored Christmas card was inspired by a beautiful basket of peachy poinsettias I saw this weekend.  This is a 5 x 7 inch design stamped with Altenew inks.

Images used on this holiday card came from the following Kitchen Sink Stamps sets:

The Holidays are Sneaking Up!

For some reason, the holidays seem to be sneaking up on me and catching me unprepared this year. I am scrambling to get some pies and cakes baked and into the freezer to serve on Thanksgiving which is just one week away! EKKK!!

And Christmas cards and tags, don't even go there!! I looked in my Christmas stash bin thinking I had over 50 cards. Guess again!! There are all of 19 ready to mail! WHAT?? Looks like I will burning the candle at both ends for a while!

Today's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored designs feature both a Thanksgiving card and a Christmas card.

CCEE2146 - Buffalo Plaid

CCEE November Hostess, Kelly McKown-Santi, absolutely adores black and white buffalo plaid (also known as buffalo check). She has asked the CCEE Stampers to create a card with buffalo plaid as our focal point.
Here is a fun fact I learned this week. On Thursday, November 18 Mickey and Minnie Mouse are celebrating their 93rd birthday! It just so happens that my parents will be celebrating their 93rd birthdays in January and February. I think this will be a fun card for one of them.
The buffalo plaid is a stamp by Momenta. The Happy Birthday is a sentiment by Kitchen Sink Stamps. Mickey and Minnie were cut with a die by Cuttlebug and the 93 were cut with a die by Sizzix.

Check out the fun buffalo plaid designs by the CCEE Design Team:

Activate: Feast Mode - KSS

I have been in the kitchen for over a week trying out new recipes for our family Thanksgiving feast! That experience has been the inspiration for this week's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design.

The turkey and sentiments used here are from the newly released Turkey Blessings. What a fabulously awesome array of  sentiments from serious to whimsical come with this fun set! The other stamp set I put into the mix is Pumpkins.

The background was created using the SVC Cut Oak Leaves and Acorns Slimline Stencil, also from Kitchen Sink Stamps! Brushing in all those autumn colors was quick and easy! I'm loving the look!
