Long Live Little League! - Kitchen Sink Stamps

This week's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design was inspired by the hours of pleasure and enjoyment my family and friends received from watching Little Leaguers from all over the world take part in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania this past week! What an amazing display of skill, determination, heart, and sportsmanship from these remarkable young boys!

Congratulations to all who took part in this sensational event. It was a hard earned honor to be there, and I am so proud of each and every participant.

Congratulations, also to El Segundo who came out on top and a huge shout out to Texas' own Needville who represented us so very well! Way to go, boys!

Images from the following Kitchen Sink Stamps sets were used to create this design:

Baseball - retired

Star & Stripes American Flag

Honey Bunny

The sentiment was computer generated. The flag and mitt were stamped on SVG cut files which coordinate with the stamp sets. The flag pole was also a two layer SVG file cut from two colors of cardstock.

I am entering this design in the following challenges this week:

Corrosive Challenge - 8-August-2023 - Anything Goes

We Love Stamping - Masculine

The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog - Challenge #564 - Summertime

The Sisterhood of Crafters - Make a Scene

Maui Strong - Kitchen Sink Stamps

Today's Kitchen Sink Stamps' sponsored design was created for the Technique Lover's Challenge - Partial Stenciling over at Splitcoaststampers.

The heart-breaking photos coming from Hawaii which show the devastation of the fires in Maui have inspired my card today. My prayer and support are with the people there who have experienced such unbearable loss.

The partial stenciling was done with an SVG Cut Stencil from KSS called
Waves and Splashes. The flowers were created with their Plumeria set. The sentiment was computer generated.

I have entered this card in the following challenges, as well, this week:

Plumeria Frame - Kitchen Sink Stamps

For this week's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design, I have framed this seaside scene with an oval of plumeria! This card is going to a niece who has spent her birthday this past week on a tropical island with her sweet family. What could be more divine?

The following KSS sets were used to create this design. All of the images were stamped on SVG cut files which are available for these sets. They were then layered and assembles on the teal card front. A Spellbinders oval die was used to create the lighthouse panel.

Plumeria

Lighthouse

Palm Trees

Isle of Big Bay Lake

Hawaiian Greetings

I have entered this card in the following challenges for this week:

Day of the Month Card Club - Challenge #54 - National Beach Day + National Lighthouse Day

The Paper Players - Challenge PP652 - Hot Fun in the Summertime

As You See It Challenge - Challenge #304 - Summertime & the Livin' is Easy- Fill in the blank - The thing I love most about summer is time spent at the beach!
