CCEE2250 - Time Marches On!

 Hi Crafty Friends

Welcome to our final CCEE Stampers challenge.

Before we get to Maryann's challenge below, Frances B, our fearless leader wanted to update you about our challenge group.

"Sadly I have to let you know, that this will be our final challenge on the CCEE blog. After over 15 years of lots of fun challenges, it's time to say goodbye! I was fortunate to be one of the foundation members of this challenge group, which started in July 2007 over on Splitcoaststampers ... there were eight of us. We called ourselves ... Cheers & Challenges Eclectic Ensemble which later got shortened to CCEE Stampers. When we first started our challenge group, there weren't many if any others around. Now there are thousands. We have had a lot of fun over the years, and a big thanks to all our current Design Team members for playing along each week and taking turns issuing the challenges each month.

Thank you also for those of you who have also played along with us over the years, we love that you play along with us.

Okay ... now let's get to Maryann's final challenge for 2022."

Time is counting down to the end of the year, so I am asking that you card feature clocks on your card. Think of time clocks, stop watches or even a countdown clock anything to do with time.

Wishing you all a Merry and Safe Christmas and New Year.

My card was created using Grandfather's Pocket Watch by Kitchen Sink Stamps, a sentiment from Wave of Inspiration by Stampin' Up, and a gear stencil from The Crafter's Companion.

Here are the final CCEE creations from the current design team:

CCEE Stampers Hostess, Maryann Einam says, "Since it is so close to Christmas, now is the time to build up your card stash." She has asked the CCEE Stampers to build a favorite Christmas card in any style we like.

I made 18 of these fun gnome cards for my holiday card stash this year. The dies are from Momenta and the designer paper is from the Paper Studio.

CCEE2246 - Seaside Holiday

November CCEE Stampers Hostess, Maryann Einam, has one last fun challenge for the CCEE Stampers for the month of November.

She says, "Whatever the season, it is great to get away and celebrate the day with a seaside holiday. Use the seaside for inspiration for your card today."

Well, my family and I celebrate the Christmas holidays together at the beach each and every year so this challenge is right up my alley.

My card features images from Unity and Rubbernecker with die cuts from Momenta and Spellbinders.

Here are the seaside celebrations created by the other members of
the CCEE Design Team.

CCEE2244 - Silhouettes

Maryann Einam, our CCEE Stampers challenge hostess says,I love the simplicity of the a silhouette, and a lot of companies have them whether they are stamps or dies." She has requested that this week the CCEE Stampers create a card with a beautiful silhouette. She says it can be a scene or a stand-alone image.

Well, I LOVE silhouettes and love creating with them. Since I am WAY behind on my Christmas cards this year, I have made 10 copies of this card to add to my stash. This design was created using Tim Holtz Vault Series: Christmas 2021 while the sentiment is from Joyful Song by The Project Bin.

CCEE2242 - International Animation Day

Lynn McAuley here with the final CCEE Stampers Challenge for October.

Friday is International Animation Day. What joyful and action-packed entertainment has filled our lives through the talented creations of the world's amazing animators. In honor these animators' remarkable work, choose one of your favorite animated characters to feature on this week's CCEE design. How fabulous would it be if you included the name of the animator who created your character!

I have gone with the King of Animation, Walt Disney and his classic characters, Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

This card has no stamping. It was created with a Disney die cut called Romantic Stroll. The sentiment was created with a die from Momenta. I attached them to a 3-D embossed heart panel.

Let's see what animation characters the rest of the team features:

CCEE2240 - U.S. Navy Birthday Celebration

Welcome back to another week of challenges from the CCEE Stampers. I am Lynn McAuley, and I am serving as hostess for the month of October.

In the United States of America , October 13 is the day that the U.S. Navy celebrates as their birthday. To honor the men and women who have stepped up to serve our nation as members of the Navy since its inception, create a  card with a nautical theme.

Here are the wonderful samples from our talented design team created to honor past and present members of the Navy:

CCEE2239 - National Bring Your Bible to School Day

Lynn McAuley here to kick off the month of October with new challenges for the CCEE Stampers.

In the United States, today is National Bring Your Bible to School Day. For that reason, our challenge for this week is quite simple: use a Bible scripture as the sentiment on the front of your card design.

My card features the 23rd Psalm stamp from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps which I often use on sympathy designs. It was stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturn ink over the layered mountain and pines stencil by Altenew. The Cloud stencil is by A Colorful Life Designs. The texture on the card front was stamped with a background stamp from Impression Obsession.

Below are the beautiful creations from our design team members, and the wonderful scriptures they have chosen to use with their stunning designs:

CCEE2238 - National Coffee Day

Our CCEE September Hostess, Kelly McKown-Santi is the Queen of Coffee so of course on National Coffee Day, she has asked us to create a card that has something to do with coffee.

I must admit that I didn't become a coffee fan until about 10 years ago, but now I can not start a day without it.

My card uses designer paper from Graphic 45, a die cut coffee cup from Sizzix, and a fabulously fun sentiment from Rubberneckers.

Thanks, Kelly, for a fabulous month of fun challenges!! What fun I had creating each and every one!!

CCEE2235 - 18th Birthday Celebration

Kelly McKown-Santi is the CCEE Stampers' Challenge Host for the month of September. Since tomorrow is her son's 18th birthday, Kelly has asked the CCEE Stampers to create a masculine birthday card. She wants us to use one or eight of anything on our cards.

I used one stamp to create this card and 8 jewels as the stars in the sky for my masculine birthday design.

I grabbed up this great Hero Arts background stamp on sale at Hobby Lobby last week. I know I will be using it again soon!!

Visit the CCEE DT blogs to see their masculine birthday designs for Kelly's challenge!!

A punched image; patterned paper; pansy; paint; person or a product that is from a company whose name starts with “P”.

I have chosen to use products from companies that begin with "P." The window die is from Poppy Stamps and the embellishments are from the Paper Studio.

CCEE2231 - Embossed and Sanded Glossy Paper

Our CCEE Stampers' August hostess, Frances Bryne, is back today with our new challenge for this week!

A few months ago, Jennifer McGuire shared a technique using embossing folders, glossy paper, and sanding blocks. Frances has asked that we each give this technique a try on this week's cards.  You can find Jennifer's tutorial here

I ended up using it to create a birthday card for my brother-in-law, Don, who will be celebrating his birthday next week.

CCEE2230 - Butterflies

It's a brand new month which means a new challenge hostess for the CCEE Stampers. Throughout the month of August, the creative and talented Frances Byrne will be issuing our challenges.

Butterflies seem to be very popular right now, with many companies releasing products featuring them this year. Frances has asked the CCEE Stampers to create a card that features one or more butterflies.

My butterfly was cut using Cricut Design Space and then dry embossed before popping it up over the card front. The die cut flowers are Be Bold Blossoms by Spellbinders. The embossed card front is by The Crafter's Companion, and the sentiment is from Heartfelt Thoughts by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.

My picnic card was created with dies while the sentiment was cut using my Cricut Joy. No stamping on this design.
