A Trip to the Beach - Kitchen Sink Stamps

We are celebrating one of the best places on earth to be during these final days of summer with the newest releases from Kitchen Sink Stamps: THE BEACH! There is no place I would rather be, any time of the year.

Available for purchase today at Kitchen Sink Stamps are these fabulous new sets:

Summer Splashes

Beachcomber's Bounty

Plumeria

Tiki Time

and

Hawaiian Greetings

I will be sharing you Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored cards I have created with these delightful sets throughout the week, but thought I would get started today with the following cards.

This first slimline design features the fabulously fun flip flops and some of the great sentiments which are a part of the Summer Splashes set. The flip flops which were cut with the SVG file available for this set are decorated with a hibiscus which is an image found in the Hawaiian Greetings set. The small shell is an image from Beachcomber's Bounty while the small star fish is from the Sea Shells sets which has been in the store for a good while.

Color Recipe for the Flip Flops
Using Altenew Inks

1 - Blush
2 - Pink Pearl
3 - Rouge
4- Coral Bliss

The hibiscus were then added using Deep Iris

The striped designer paper making the towel on the beach is from American Crafts while the torn ocean papers and kraft beach are by the Paper Studio.
The sky is Bazzill blue and the card base is Watermelon Wonder by Stampin' Up as is the Painted Texture embossing folder used on the sand

This second card features the gorgeous Plumeria set which contains three different blooms and two leaves. I also used the SVG cut files for these flowers and leaves which make for easy arranging of the stunning blossoms and leaves without the need for masking. Attached is the color recipe I used for the flowers. You will notice on the color recipe that I did not stamp layer one as I wanted white highlights on the blossoms. The sentiment if from Hawaiian Greetings.

This final card today is a Happy Hour card using images from Tiki Time, Plumeria, Sail Boats, and Palm Trees. The card base is Orchid Opulence and Watermelon Wonder by Stampin' Up. The table was created with woodgrain paper by the Paper Studio while I stamped the images on Recollections white card stock. SVG cut files were used for the plumeria, the tiki cup, and the drink umbrella.
