CCEE2104 - Warm and Cozy

Lynn McAuley here with the final CCEE Challenge for January.

Many of us are experiencing very cold days during late January in our part of the world. Feature on your design something that makes you feel warm and cozy even on the coldest of winter days!

For me, nothing says warm and cozy like the sun. We haven't seen much of it lately, but every time it shows its face, I get outside and soak up as much as I can! I'm tired of shivering this winter!

Let's see how the rest of the CCEE DT stays warm and cozy:

Dreams Come True in the Kitchen

I have been anxiously awaiting with baited breath Monday's arrival because TODAY I get to share with you the latest releases from Kitchen Sink Stamps. They include a little bit of something for everyone! There is a fairy tale castle for the brides and princesses in your life! Beautiful Alpine mountains make a fabulous set to add to your scene-building collection.  For note writing or Valentines there is an antique quill and ink bottle. The final set has a parchment scroll with awesome sentiments to work with them all! What fun!!

Ever After Castle

Alpine Mountains

Love Letters

Ever After Greetings

In addition to the Ever After Castle and the Ever After Greetings, I also included images from Village Stone Bridge (the horse and carriage) and Friends of the Moon (stars and smallest fireworks).

I used this same exact recipe on the base for the castle as well. The fireworks and stars were stamped with Brilliance Galaxy Gold Ink and the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black. Washi tape made the sparkly black road under the horse and carriage.

This castle design again uses Ever After Castle and Ever After Greetings with the addition of Alpine Mountains, Rolling Hills, and grass edging from Honey Bunny. The sky was created with the SVG cut file Cloudy Skies.

This final Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design is a masculine Valentine's Day card made with Love Letters. The puffy heart 3-D embossing was created with a Sizzix embossing folder.

Color Recipe for Quill and Ink Bottle

Layer 5 Versafine Onyx Black
Layer 4 SU Blueberry Bushel
Layer 3 SU Bliss Blue
Layer 2 SU Seaside Spray

Masculine Anniversary Card - Kitchen Sink Stamps

Today's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored card is an anniversary card a friend requested that I make for her husband. It features the new KSS Steam Train because Henry retired from a career with the railroads. I am entering it in the Layering Challenge over at Simon Says Stamp this week.

Images for this design came from the following Kitchen Sink Stamps sets:

The words were cut using Cricut Design Space. The designer paper background is French Industrial by Tim Holtz.

Challenges I am entering this card in include:

National Dress Up Your Pet Day - CCEE2102

Lynn McAuley here with the second challenge of 2021 for the CCEE Stampers.

Today is National Dress Up Your Pet Day. In honor of this fabulously fun occasion, feature an animal of any kind dressed up in the clothing of your choice. Add a fun sentiment to cheer up an animal-lover's day! Brownie points if you include a picture on your blog of your pet dressed to celebrate their day!

This week has been especially cold here in Texas. My card features my chihuahua, Calleigh, dressed as a snowman. Many around us had snow, but we did not. So although we are freezing, Calleigh is the only snowman at my house this week!

KSS Cable Car meets SCS TLC829

When I saw the newest Technique Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers this morning, I knew it would be perfect for a fun card using Kitchen Sink Stamps' cable car! So today's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored card is a mini bendi card made with a mix of designer paper, die cuts, and two images from Kitchen Sink Stamps.

The well-written tutorial for the mini bendi was easy to follow and my card came together in no time! And the great thing about it is that when it is finished, it lays flat to go into an A2 envelope! How great is that!!

To create this card, I used the newly released Steam Train & Cable Car as well as a sentiment from Bicycle.

The designer paper background is from BasicGrey. The die cut skyline is by Momenta. I used the KSS Cut File for the cable car. The color recipe for the cable car is attached below. The sentiment is stamped with Versafine Onyx Black.

Life Changes - CCEE2101

Hello and welcome to a new year of challenges with the CCEE Stampers.  I will be CCEE Stampers hostess and will be posting challenges for the month of January.

A new year usually means New Year's Resolutions. For the first challenge of 2021, I am asking that you feature something that you could add to or subtract from your life to improve the quality of your physical or mental health. Your card can be tongue-in-cheek or the real deal. You decide!

I have decided that this year I will spend more time counting my blessings and being grateful for the amazing things that touch my life daily. Being grateful for the things that I have is a pathway to true joy and happiness. My life is so blessed, and I need to give voice to that fact thanking God each and every day.

Images are from Kitchen Sink Stamps.

Sentiment is from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps

Let's see what life changes are coming up for the rest of the CCEE Team!
