Scary On - Kitchen Sink Stamps

Today's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design is a Halloween card using images from Graveyard Raven and Scaredy Cat. It was inspired by today's Technique Lover's Challenge #973 - Night Sky.

My night sky for this challenge was created with blended Distress Oxide Ink by Ranger, Mica Spray, water, and rhinestones. The raven and tombstone were stamped on SVG Cut Files which coordinate with these sets. I punched a full moon to add to the scene as a highlight for the raven.

This card has been entered in the following challenges this week:

Hiking through the Meadows

I have been having so much fun working with Hiking through the Meadows, the small die of the month for September from Spellbinders. Because of having to do much of my crafting away from my craft space due to life circumstances, dies are becoming more and more my go-to card making technique. I can take boxes of my die cut pieces and glue and piece to my hearts content with nothing but a bottle of glue, card fronts, embossed panels, and sentiment tags!

I made two of these this morning: one for  Mother Mark's Teapot Tuesday Challenge #794 at Splitcoaststampers and one for a friend who is having a knee replacement today.

Is it just in Texas, or is it everywhere that shoulder and knee replacements are now day surgery? That's just crazy.

Wonderful Sister - Kitchen Sink Stamps

Today's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design is a card I have created for my sweet, sweet sister. She is my faithful partner in providing care for our aging parents. Without her help, I could not do the do all the things that must be done! What a blessing she is to our lives!! Thank you, Liz!!

I again have created a 5 x 7 design using All Aflutter and added a beautiful sentiment from Whole Family. I wanted something beautiful and delicate so I created this framed vellum shadow box by layering 4 stitched die cut rectangles  and adding the vellum between the top two layers. The SVG cut flowers and butterfly were glued to the back of the bottom frame. I love how it turned out and think this will also make a stunning sympathy card. I will be making several of these for my sympathy stash.

Although All Aflutter is sold out, you can create this design with Butterflies and many of the other KSS flowers and sentiments.

Autumn Scene Building with All Aflutter

I thought I would share with those of you who purchased All Aflutter, the Kitchen Sink Stamps and Simon Says Stamp collaboration set during STAMPtember, an autumn scene I created mixing it with other images from Kitchen Sink Stamps. Scene building is my favorite type of card making so I am always delighted when new images can be mixed with old ones to add more interest to my scenes.

The additional images are from the following sets:

Isle of Big Bay Lake

Trees

Tree Friends

Autumn Greetings

For those of you who were not able to get the set with dies before they sold out, Kitchen Sink Stamps sells SVG cut files for All Aflutter which is what I used to stamp the flowers, butterfly, and dragonfly.

I have entered this card in the following challenges this week:

Not Older - More Distinguished - Kitchen Sink Stamps

September finds me in need of a masculine birthday card so I added a digital sentiment from KSS' new Happy Birthday Banner Sentiment digi svgs (there are 8 fun banners to foil or print in this fun set) to images from Birch Trees and Mighty Moose for the rugged outdoorsman in my family!

The birch trees and the moose were stamped on SVG cut files that are available at KSS to go with these stamps sets. I used Altenew inks on these images.

The clouds were created by dipping my finger tips in white acrylic paint and dabbing the wet paint on the blue cardstock panel.

This card has been added to the following challenges this week:

Retro Rubber Challenge Blog - Challenge #215 - Fall Scenes! ** Birch Trees is a set released by KSS in 2015. Mighty Moose was released in 2020.

Kitchen Sink Stamps is again a sponsor for Simon Says Stamp's STAMPtember so be on the look out for thein exclusive collaboration!!

Although the temperatures are still hitting triple digits here in Texas, I am dreaming of autumn with more anticipation than ever this year. This week's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored card was created with images from Big Leaves and Autumn Greetings attached to a watercolor and splattered background. The leaves were stamped on cut SVG files, and I fussy cut the sentiment, popping it up on dimensionals.

Long Live Little League! - Kitchen Sink Stamps

This week's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design was inspired by the hours of pleasure and enjoyment my family and friends received from watching Little Leaguers from all over the world take part in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania this past week! What an amazing display of skill, determination, heart, and sportsmanship from these remarkable young boys!

Congratulations to all who took part in this sensational event. It was a hard earned honor to be there, and I am so proud of each and every participant.

Congratulations, also to El Segundo who came out on top and a huge shout out to Texas' own Needville who represented us so very well! Way to go, boys!

Images from the following Kitchen Sink Stamps sets were used to create this design:

Baseball - retired

Star & Stripes American Flag

Honey Bunny

The sentiment was computer generated. The flag and mitt were stamped on SVG cut files which coordinate with the stamp sets. The flag pole was also a two layer SVG file cut from two colors of cardstock.

I am entering this design in the following challenges this week:

Corrosive Challenge - 8-August-2023 - Anything Goes

Maui Strong - Kitchen Sink Stamps

Today's Kitchen Sink Stamps' sponsored design was created for the Technique Lover's Challenge - Partial Stenciling over at Splitcoaststampers.

The heart-breaking photos coming from Hawaii which show the devastation of the fires in Maui have inspired my card today. My prayer and support are with the people there who have experienced such unbearable loss.

The partial stenciling was done with an SVG Cut Stencil from KSS called
Waves and Splashes. The flowers were created with their Plumeria set. The sentiment was computer generated.

I have entered this card in the following challenges, as well, this week:
