I had a lot of fun with today's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design. It seems like mothers everywhere face some of the same problems daily. There are always mouths to feed. I used images from the following sets by Kitchen Sink Stamps to create this tongue in cheek outdoors design I call "Mama's Gone Fishing!" It is a mini slimline design measuring 3 inches by 6 inches.
The two color recipes I am sharing today feature inks from Stampin' Up.
Color Recipe for the Bear
Layer 1 Stampin' Up Creamy Caramel
Layer 2 Stampin' Up Baked Brown Sugar
Layer 3 Stampin' Up Soft Suede
Layer 4 Stampin' Up Early Espresso
Color Recipe for the Trout
Layer 1 Stampin' Up Soft Seafoam
Layer 2 Stampin' Up Mellow Moss
Layer 3 Stampin' Up Garden Green
Layer 4 Stampin' Up Always Artichoke
Layer 5 Versafine Onyx Black
I then brushed a touch of Stampin' Up Flirty Flamingo on the belly.
I am entering this card in the following challenges this week:

Oh my goodness I love the layered scene and that bear is just the cutest! I have always loved bears and oh how I wish I could see one in real life outside of a zoo.

ReplyDeleteThis is stunning Lynn!! I love the gorgeous scene you created for the bears, the little ones in the background are so cute, awesome stamping as always!
ReplyDeleteFabulous scene and thanks for playing along at Sweet Stampin' hugs Sue x
ReplyDeleteWonderful scene top to bottom, my favorite thing is how your stamps show so much depth and highlights using the different shades of ink. I wouldn't want to be in between that mama and her fish.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I live in Central Florida, and we have a lot of bears, and I thoroughly enjoyed your card. I wish they still had more of their habitats left! Thanks for playing along with the Make My Monday challenge. Hope to see you again soon!
