Peaceful Wishes

Today's card is my final Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design as a design team member since the store will be closing shop at midnight PST on Wednesday, July 31. I have had the remarkable pleasure of working with Maria and her amazing art almost from the beginning of Kitchen Sink Stamps. My first purchase from her was the classic Heart & Roses. Although KSS is closing, you will still see her beautiful images showing up in my work from time to time. Her realistic, layered images are themselves timeless. They will therefore never go out of style and will always be among my favorites. Thank you, Maria for the beauty and joy you have brought into my life with your exquisite talent.

Thank you to each of you who have followed by work here as well as at Splitcoaststampers and left such sweet comments. What a blessing you have been to my life.

I chosen to create with the Graceful Swan today since it is still in stock in the store. I know many people shy away from white images so I am including the color recipe I used to create the swan today. My main advice to you when trying to stamp a layered white image is to ALWAYS leave off Layer 1. Start stamping with Layer 2 in the palest gray you have and go up from there.

Color Recipe for the Swan
Using Altenew Inks

Layer 1 - omit this layer

Layer 2 - Limestone stamped off once

Layer 3 - Limestone

Layer 4 - Silver Stone

Layer 5 - Silver Lining

Layer 6 - Industrial Diamond

Layer 7 - Jet Black

Have a Beary Merry Christmas - Kitchen Sink Stamps

I checked this morning and found that there are still several Teddy Bear Wishes and two Things 4 Ducky & Teddy still available in the Kitchen Sink Stamps store as the closing date (July 31) draws near. I decided to use these two sets in today's KSS sponsored Christmas card design. I used a few birch tree trunks and a sentiment from Christmas Poinsettia. If you have an electric cutting machine, don't neglect to add the SVG cut files to your order. My bear was stamped on the SVG cut file designed for Teddy Bear Wishes.

Summer Fun - Kitchen Sink Stamps

Today's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored designs feature images that bring to my mind summer fun! One on land and one in the water!

The Sea & Sand card features images from Giant Coral and Seahorse, Tropical Fish, and Beachcomber's Bounty. I stamped the coral directly on the blue card front, but the seahorses, fish, and shells were stamped on SVG cut shapes. I painted the greenery with a Bamboo reinker by Memento. The waves were stenciled on using the SVG cut stencil Waves & Splashes.

The land card was created using images from Bicycle and Trees. Both the bicycle and the tree were stamped on SVG cut shapes and glued to the blended panel with the sentiment being added last with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink.

Kitchen Sink Stamps will be closing shop on July 31. I think that the Bicycle is the only image I have used today which is still available this morning. The images are selling out fast. I will continue to create with my wonderful KSS collection and post my cards here and on the Kitchen Sink Stamps - Multi Step Stamping Fans page on Facebook from time to time.

Please use the code below to purchase any stamps which remain in the shop through July 31.

You Make My Heart Sing! - Kitchen Sink Stamps

Many of you may not know this, but I am a huge country music fan. I am currently waiting anxiously for Amazon to deliver Luke Combs' new album, Fathers and Sons to my doorstep. Until then I will be listening to it on You Tube! With my husband's birthday coming this week, most of the songs on the album hold a great deal of meaning for me! I will be shedding many bittersweet tears!

So with country music as my inspiration this week, I have created this  5 x 7 design using images from:

Cowboy Boots

Cowboy Hat - retired

Guitar

Trees

Grazing Horse

I have entered this card in the following challenges this week:
