Anne Harmon, our CCEE Stampers' hostess for the month of August has challenged us this week, to use either wet or dry embossing. Embossing adds so much to a card. Add some bling (glitter, gems, sequins, etc.)
I have watercolored a cute little embossed neighborhood from Darice. (Looks like I forgot to paint the wheels on the car and bus! I'll go back and do that before I mail this out.)The paper is Bo Bunny and the charm is by Tim Holtz. The stamped sentiment is from Everything Comes Full Turn by Unity.
Check out the embossed beauties by the rest of the CCEE Team!
How unique! I've not seen that embossing folder before, but I love it! And that button and bow at the top looks perfect! So very pretty.
ReplyDeleteThis is SO CUTE, Lynn! I thought it was die cuts you added, till I read that you used an embossing folder! JUST BEAUTIFUL!!! You need a steady hand to color all of this! You've pieced together THE PERFECT pieces for the PERFECT CARD in the end! LOVE EACH little element you've added! ;)<3 INKY HUGS DEAR FRIEND for coming over to visit!!! ;)<3
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job getting all those raised pieces colored so uniquely and different. That would have taken me hours.
ReplyDeleteThis turned out so pretty Lynn!! I have never thought to color the embossed areas of a design and I absolutely love how this looks! Brilliant card!! HUGS
ReplyDeletewhat a fabulous embossing folder you used on this, so different. Love how you colored it
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Lynn! I love the embossed background and how you added color, awesome sentiment too!
ReplyDeleteHow beautifully done- I so love your coloring idea here! I have never seen this EP before!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job watercoloring your embossed village. I've tried to do this many times and it never works out for me. You've done amazingly well because even after reading it a few times I finally realized it was from an embossing folder and not tiny die cuts... It feels good to be back into my craft space but I guess I have to get my head in the room as well...lol Hope all is well... big hugs from TN
