Another Texas flower that doesn't stay around anywhere NEAR long enough is the dogwood. They are found mostly in East Texas filling the dogwood trees for a few brief weeks in early spring.
For today's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design I have used Enchanted Dogwood to create this spring birthday card for a sweet friend. The sentiment if from Words 4 Celebrating.
I have entered this birthday card in the following challenges this week:
Beautiful Blossoms Floral Challenge #3
Allsorts Challenge Weeks 722/723 - In the Spring Garden
Birds, Butterflies & Blooms - April Challenge
My Time to Craft Challenge - Challenge #505, Easter or Spring Flowers

Nothing pretty than the dogwood - and bluebonnet - and I miss both. I love seeing them on your cards though. This is beautiful!

Lynn: The dogwood blossoms are pretty and are matched well with your paper choices! I have to drive down to southern Illinois or Missouri in order to see the springtime blooming of dogwoods. There's also an Easter connection of dogwoods because of the number of petals and placement looks like a cross. Thanks for sharing at MTTC! --Becca/DT
