CCEE1923 - Back to School
This is the 60th anniversary of CCEE June hostess, Lois Bak's graduation from high school -- June 9, 1959. So her challenge for the team this week is to make a card depicting our favorite subject in school.
Well, my favorite subject was art! I guess that is why in retirement, it continues to be such a huge part of my everyday life.

ReplyDeleteI have to say, my art teacher did not encourage my not so great of skills back then, but I have always loved art and creating! I excelled in Math and Science! (I HATED English class!!!).
A very artsy looking card for this challenge too. I love that pretty stenciling in the background. Although Grandma Austin's stenciling was somewhat different than this type, I am sure watching her with her creative talents and mom with hers, we were destined to love it.
