And, of course, it is the second Monday which means I had the opportunity to work one of them into this week's Let's Make a Scene design. I think it makes the perfect January birthday card for my "way up north" friend.

A die cut sand dollar, starfish, and seaweed sprigs were added as embellishments on the fish net which was stamped in Stampin' Up Baked Brown Sugar.

I hand cut a socket for the lightbulb out of red rubber and stamped it with Memento Olive Grove. The wire was hand-drawn with a Copic marker. The glow of the bulb was brushed on with Distress Oxide Barn Door. The sentiment was also stamped with Barn Door.

Wowzer Lynn! These each look amazing! I have to say that those winter skates are really stunning especially with that scene you've created in the background!
