Wakely Girl - Unity

I spent this morning playing with my watercolors and my Unity girls. I used Wakely Girl to complete three challenges.

This first card was created for the International Art & Soul Challenge #4 - Embossing. I dry embossed the background script panel with Cuttlebug Script Texture. I then skimmed the top of it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and brushed the background with Walnut Stain Distress ink. The sentiment is heat embossed.

This second card was created for Splitcoaststampers' Sketch Challenge #637 and the Unity Watercolor Challenge.  The designer paper is Happy Day by My Mind's Eye .

  1. They're both so lovely! The background on that first one is so different, yet beautiful. Love the image you selected for these cards. Fabulous!

  2. I love them both! The top one has a wonderful Vintage style and the second card is happy and cheerful with the colors! It's always fun to just play around once in a while! Hugs & Smiles - *Vicki*

  3. Two beautiful cards Lynn! Gorgeous watercoloring on both and I love the awesome script background on your first card!
    Hugs, Tammy

  4. Did you get some new stamps??? I love them! Your cards are fabulous! Love that you can get such different effects using the same stamp too- love what you did with the sentiment too!

  5. I love that script embossing folder! Looks great on your card, together with the lovely image. Thanks for sharing it with us at IA&S this time. Good luck and please come back next time. Christine DT x
