Today is Frances' birthday, and as the hostess for March, she has asked the CCEE Stampers to help her celebrate by creating a card that includes the things she loves … owls and cards that pop up; flip or pull open; accordion style etc. She wants to see anything but a flat card this week.
Flat and fast is my usual style, but in honor of Frances' birthday celebration I have created a Pop-Up Book Card which took me 2 hours! This was my first attempt at this style of card so don't look too closely for the flaws. They are everywhere!!
There was no stamping on this card. I just used an assortment of dies and punches to create this design. The inside sentiment was computer generated.

I know Frances would love to see your owl pop-up card posted on the CCEE blog to help her celebrate!

ReplyDeleteGreat use of that beautiful birthday die! Congratulations on mastering that pop-up book card. I remember the first time I made one that it took me quite a while to get those folds to look good. I like the background DP you used on the inside. It looks like a starry sky behind your night-owls!
