If this is Wednesday, that means it's time for another trip to look in on clean and cluttered desks of crafters around the globe over at Julia Dunnit's Stamping Ground!
Thank you so much to each one of you who have taken the time to drop by and check out my desk!
The word of the week for me is "masculine." My supply of guy cards is running low, and I need to mail out six tomorrow. I reached for my KSS lighthouse and old truck and TH's umbrella man.
With the lighthouse, I was using reinkers and alcohol to create a blotchy sea. I started out masking the lighthouse and island, but found I did better without the mask so in the trash it went.
Here is what my cards look like finished! I'm a pretty clean and simple girl so most of my work is unembellished and flat for mailing ease.
Oh Lynn your cards are super....male cards are always a 'task' for me and like you my supply is reallllly low so I might get some inspiration from you. Have a great week, Cheers RobynO #32
ReplyDeleteWonderful, wonderful cards Lynn!! It is Father's Day this Sunday in Australia, so I had better do something manly for my daughters father for her to give him. I absolutely love the light house card and how you coloured it!! Happy WOYWW.

I love the effect on the lighthouse card! All the cards, though, are beautifully crafted and the sentiments are so apt for each one - I love the one with Tim's umbrella man! Have a great WOYWW. Julie Ann xx #42

Each card is fabulous, especially all the raindrops! Always fun to see what others are creating!
ReplyDeleteLove those lighthouses. Your colors are so beautiful. Always fun to see that multi-layering in action at your desk. Such a fascinating process.
ReplyDeleteOH my, this is a beautiful walk through your card making, Lynn! The lighthouse cards stole my heart but each is beautiful! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteFabulous man cards Lynn. The lighthouses are stunning. Your desks looks like a lot of creating is going on
ReplyDeleteHello, I am sending this to everyone. Im sorry I am not going to be able to get to all the desk and I have now lost my sheet of paper that I was writing them down on. I don't think my cat is going to make it through the night to even see the vet. She is old just like my dog so I guess they are going to get sick at the same time or so. I just going to copy and paste and sorry to every one that I didn't get to read.. I just cant do it right now. Thank you Roberta 40 and bright blessings to all.
ReplyDeleteYes, dear Lynn, I agree with all the others. Wonderful masculine stuff. The lighthouse is gorgeous :)
