Five Words

The challenge today for the Hope You Can Cling To event at Splitcoaststampers was to create cards with 5 words as the focus of the design. I created one card featuring five roles played by many of the women struggling with cancer. The other card is one of encouragement created also for MOJO261 at Verve and going to M.D. Anderson.

Stamps: Brighter Days by Verve
Papers: Tangerine Tango by Stampin' Up
Away We Go by My Mind's Eye
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black
Tools: Circle Nestabilities, McGill Leaf Punch
Embellishment: Prima flower

Stamps: Whole Family and Other Important People by Kitchen Sink Stamps
Papers: Georgia Pacific White, DP by the Paper Studio, Pretty in Pink by Stampin' Up
Ink: Memento Rose Bud
Tools: Cuttlebug Die
Embellishment: Ribbon, Pearls, Crystal Hearts

  1. Beautiful encouragement cards Lynn!

  2. This was such a fun challenge. I love both of your cards. The pearls and pink trim on the second card stole my heart!

  3. Both cards are exceptional! Love the pretty DP you used and the sentiment on the first card is wonderful for a get well card.

  4. Love your mojo card, Lynn! Beautiful interpretation of the sketch!

  5. Great great work Lynn!

Love the arrows on the first card with that sentiment! Perfect!!

And the 2nd is just as terrific!
Love the row of pearls and the heart on the ribbon too!!!!

  6. The flower in your first card is so pretty. Did you ink the edges of the petals or did you buy it that way? I love everything about your second card, but especially the lovely script.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today and leaving a comment on my work! I sincerely appreciate it!!
