SCS Virtual Stamp Night Mini

I was out of town on Friday during Splitcoaststampers' Virtual Stamp Night Mini but got the chance to play a little catch up today and completed two of the challenges.

My first card was for a challenge which required that the design contain flourishes of some sort: stamped, embossed, or die cut.

 Stamps: Happy Birthday from MFP
Papers: Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Groovy Guava,
and Lucky Limeade by Stampin' Up
out of print by BasicGrey
newsprint
Inks: Calypso Coral by SU, Memento Tuxedo Black
Tools: Flourish Die Cut, SU Oval Punches, SU Scalloped Punch
MS Leaf Punch, Sizzix Embossing Folder
Embellishments: Jeweled Brad, Organdy Ribbon

The next challenge I completed, required that participants create their own layered flower. I tried out my new McGill Rose Punch. My rose looks a little "wild" but I am happy with it for my first attempt!

Stamps: Scripture Collection 1 by Our Daily Bread
Papers: Rose Red, Lucky Limeade, Always Artichoke,
and Whisper White by Stampin' Up
out of print by BasicGrey
Tools: McGill Rose Punch, McGill Leaf Punch, MS Fern Punch,
Oval Nestabilities
Embellishment: Microbeads
