CCEE 1425 - White
The CCEE challenge this week is to create a white-on-white card. I pulled out my Tim Holtz Umbrella Man and Bird Branch dies as the basis for my design. I used dimensionals to attach Umbrella Man to the embossed stripes at the bottom of the card. To represent an upturn in fortune, I have it raining flowers which were created with a Martha Stewart punch and embellished with clear crystals. The sentiment is from Words to the Rescue (Encouragement) by Steve Fadie and stamped with Memento Gray Flannel.

Fabulous card
ReplyDeleteWonderful! So encouraging and positive. As I was lying outside reading yesterday I could see it raining (just petals) as the birds were busy in the trees above me. I must check out that sentiment set, I love this one!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful way to convey a message of hope, Lynn! You outdid yourself!!!

Absolutely beautiful. Love the combination of die cuts, embossing and sentiment. The white on white with all the different textures and dimensions make for a spectacular creation.

ReplyDeleteI would not have thought to use that Umbrella Man on an all-white card -- but you certainly pulled it off!
ReplyDeleteLove the embossing at the feet of the umbrella man, I have always wondered what to do with that die you have done a great job. -Maryann
