A big shout out goes to the Gulf Coast Paper Crafters after a fabulous day of creating their wonderful cards on Saturday. Thank you for an amazing day, ladies!

The KSS grass and carnations were a big hit on Saturday so I included them in my 10 Minute design.

This week I created "Clay Pots on the Patio" and filled them with some of my favorite Kitchen Sink blossoms for 10 Minute Challenge #66. I had a lot of fun with this design, and I hope you are inspired to create some for yourself. If you do, be sure to share them with Kitchen Sink fans in the KSS Gallery. Don't forget to include keyword 10MC66.

Gulf Coast Paper Crafters

Today I am in Brazoria enjoying a day of stamping and fellowship with the Gulf Coast Paper Crafters. Below are the cards I have designed for this annual event.

My first card I call Carnation Garden. It was created with stamps from Get Well Teddy by Kitchen Sink Stamps and the sentiment is from Our Daily Bread.

My second card was created with Kind Hearts by Our Daily Bread along with Sizzix die cuts and McGill punches. The pretty pattern paper is from Graphics 45.

This next card I call Looking Out, and I created it with an old SU classic stamp from Coast to Coast and the Grand Madison Window die cut.

My final card is called Looking In, and I used the Grand Madison Window again along with images from Hero Arts.

SCS Color Challenge 368

I still had the hydrangeas on my desk when today's SCS Color Challenge was posted. Concord Crush and Elegant Eggplant seemed to scream out "hydrangea" to me. The third color this week was Melon Mambo, hence the pink butterfly!

KSS Ten Minute Challenge - Spring Flowers over Script

My absolute favorite clean and simple designs are single layer cards with beautiful layers of ink as the only embellishment. I have therefore designed this week's Kitchen Sink Stamps 10 Minute Challenge using beautiful spring blossoms over a script background. I think today's design really lets the rich beauty of these stamps take center stage! The keyword is 10MC65 for those sharing a sample with us in the Kitchen Sink Gallery.

Because I wanted height on my flowers to lift them above the script, I used the stem of the lilac for all of the blossoms on this set of notecards.

KSS Ten Minute Challenge - Two Twinchies and a Turn-the-Corner Sentiment

It's great to see you again this Monday! Thanks so much for dropping by!

The layout for this week's Kitchen Sink 10 Minute Card Challenge was created with two twinchies. A Kitchen Sink image is stamped on one and a Kitchen Sink sentiment on the other.  The sentiment is stamped on two sides of the second  twinchie so it turns a corner. I then mounted the image twinchie offset on top of the sentiment twinchie and attached them both to the colored card front.

I hope you have fun with this one! The keyword is 10MC64 for anyone wishing to add their card to the Kitchen Sink Gallery.

KSS 10 Minute Card Challenge - Dog-eared Design

As quite often happens, this CAS dog-eared design came to me in my sleep. I started with a 3 x 3 inch square of double-sided designer paper. I then turned down one corner and secured it with my favorite glue, Tombow Mono Multi. I clipped a clothespin on it and set it aside to dry. I then stamped my Kitchen Sink images on the card front and a tiny sentiment on a one inch circle. I sponged ink on the edge of the circle. After removing the clothespin, I added the sentiment with a pop dot and the card was complete.

If you are keeping track and/or playing along with the 10 Minute Challenge, this is #63 and the keyword for loading to the KSS Gallery is 10MC63.

One Color Card Stock and Ink + White

For Kitchen Sink 10 Minute Card #61 I have used one sheet of colored card stock and the ink pad that matches it along with a little white card stock. Often people will contact me about layered stamping saying they don't have a wide range of ink pads or colors that blend well together. I designed today's challenge to demonstrate that depth and color coordination can be created with only one color. You don't have to have tons of ink to get beautiful results.

Pull out your Kitchen Sink images to give it a try and share your results with us in the Kitchen Sink Stamps Gallery.

Queen for the Day - Patricia Rose

Today's post honors Patricia Rose, aka kokirose of Splitcoaststampers, who was just crowned Queen for the Day. Patricia and I both share a love for the sweet characters created by House-Mouse Designs, Inc. so I have chosen to case her A Smile 4 You! With spring just around the corner, I have made an Easter version of her sweet card.
