KSS - Let's Make a Scene - Owl & Autumn Moon

This past week was the hottest one of the year here in our part of Texas so with today's Let's Make a Scene design sponsored by Kitchen Sink Stamps, I am doing my best to encourage autumn to hurry up and head down our way! We are more than ready for some cool, breezy days and some bright autumn leaves to dot the landscape around these parts.

This masculine get well card was created with Kitchen Sink Stamps' Owl & Autumn Moon Multi Step Clear StampsMake a Big Statement Clear Stamps, and Snowy Cabin Multi Step Clear Stamps (the bare trees). I used a stylus, Versamark, and clear embossing powder to sprinkle a few stars in the night sky.

I also clear embossed the moon, owl, branch, and leaves using layer 1 of each so I could sponge in the dark sky as my background.

  1. What a beautiful scene you have created Lynn. Here in the northwest we have had rain then a heat wave and more rain on the way.

It really has been a hot one hasn't it? Thankfully we got a little cooler this morning (but know it won't last).
