10+10 Monday - Lily of the Valley

I have worked out a color recipe that I really love for the lilies-of-the-valley I used for this week's 10 Minutes and 10 Minutes More designs sponsored by Kitchen Sink Stamps. These flowers are a part of A Year of Thanks II Multi Step Clear Stamps. There are 5 layers for this image and listed here are the colors I used and the order in which I stamped them.

Layer 5 - Memento Olive Grove stamped twice
Layer 4 - Memento Pistachio stamped twice
Layer 3 - Memento Bamboo Leaves stamped 3 times
Layer 2 - Memento Pear Tart stamped twice
Layer 1 - Memento New Sprout stamped twice

I do stamp with a MISTI which makes repeat stamping easy and precise.

  3. Love your pretty embossing around the lily of the valley, and that basket of lily of the valley is pretty awesome too. That sweet eyelet cover is a great addition.

  5. Just gorgeous, Lynn - both are so soft and serene and bring such a warmth. Lovely detailing :) These are always such hard cards to make for me, but you've captured the beauty of a sympathy card spot on.
