I used three acrylic paints to create the background and some SU Cajun Craze ink splatters on the square rust panel. The metallic Happy Birthday to You was made with a thinlit die from Sizzix.

ReplyDeleteGreat background, Lynn!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't find the backgrounds I did at your house until last night. So, I created something else for this challenge, but you will have to go see the one I did make and put on SCS. I stamped on the background so it wouldn't apply to this challenge. I love how this turned out on your card. I will definitely have to get me a gelli plate. It was great fun.
ReplyDeleteThat bg is FABulous, and what great colors!! I am afraid to do this....too much of a control freak, I guess! Your card would be wonderful for a guy!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the background on this Lynn! The colors are beautiful and love the way the sentiment is highlighted. VERY nice!

Great background, a super masculine card. Not just masculine either - the gold with the greens make a card anybody would love to receive.
ReplyDeleteGREAT job on the results of this lovely card for your challenge! Really love the color combo and the pretty gold embossing, super job! I thought of you today - I received an order from Kitchen Sink Stamps! It is the mini set of the Bluebonnets, can't wait to play with them! Hugs, Joanne
