WOYWW 227
I hope you have found your way here today by way of the What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday blog hop hosted by the delightful Julia Dunnit at Stamping Ground! If not, please head over to her blog and find out what it is all about. You may just want to join in on the fun.
Today you have found me frantically making my lists and checking them twice for my autumn cards workshop this morning. I will go through my boxes one last time to make sure I haven't overlooked some much needed item. The class is held downtown, and I have been known a time or two to have to make a pleading call to my husband to bring down a missing item. And turning him loose to find something in my craft space is not always a good idea. The plan is to get it right the first time today.
There is also still pink debris scattered about for my breast cancer cards for SCS's Hope You Can Cling To Challenges. I did get 13 cards finished and in the mail. Only another 25 or so to go.
Thanks for visiting my space today! I'm looking forward to seeing what you are working on this week!

You are very organised, I'm doing a class next week and haven't designed it yet, well I have seven days. Have a good class. Francesca #32
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards for your class! I remember only too well forgetting a much needed stamp or die at home and having no one to fetch it to me, I would have to buy another from the store where I was teaching! You look well organized and hope all goes smoothly for your class. Happy WOYWW! Nan G #14

Wow, your desk looks so festive and fall-like. I love the cards you are making for your class. I spot my most often used SU stamp Lovely as a Tree among the images. Love it. My hubby likes to go into my stamp room now and make me cards for our holidays. It is very sweet and I post them also. He is thrilled. Funny thing, is I get calls asking where this is or that is etc. He would like to rearrange things, but I remind him that I think and work differently than he does. He is definately the organized person in this pair! Enjoy the day! Winnie#76
ReplyDeleteWhat a lot of work, 38 cards! But it's for a good cause :). Taking just some of my stuff is imposisble - when I went to my parents for a 2 week holiday I brought 2 crates of crafting goods. Packed lots of things in shoeboxes, and they remained there ever since. It is clear the theme is autumn, lots of warm autumn colours!

Lol your comment re your hubby lose in your craft room made me smile Lynn, I usually lose things in my craft room and call hubby in to find it for me (normally have to explain in great length what I am looking for) and then he finds it right in front of me...your Autumn Cards for your class all look fantastic....wish I lived closer so that I might attend. Have a great week and Happy WOyWW! Danie #16 xx
ReplyDeleteOh, Lynn, I had to laugh at the comment about your husband in your craft room! I don't think I trust mine in there! LOL

You look like one busy gal! Good luck with finishing all the rest of your cards. But you are one brave cookie letting your husband loose in your 'den'....I suppose that sometimes, it's Needs Must!

I love the organisation you have. All my projects end up in a labelled carrier bag when I teach! I NEVER let my OH loose in the craft room, he'd know how much I'd spent if he went in there!! Hugs. Pam#37
ReplyDeleteHope your class went well Lynn, I can well imagine the worry of letting your husband loose in your craft room too! Not a good picture! Well done on continuing to make the cards for breast cancer, such a good cause. I finished the sparkly snowflake card last night and posted it today! Must make a Halloween card now, need to switch gears, lol!
