CAD - The Great Outdoors

I created today's card for the Card-a-Day blog group using SCS's Sketch Challenge 401. I pulled out some old but dearly loved Stampin' Up sets and mixed them with my newest Inkadinkado Branches to make this "Great Outdoors" design.

Stamps: Pines and Nature Silhouettes by Stampin' Up
Branches by Inkadinkado
Papers: Naturals Ivory, Crumb Cake, Always Artichoke, Certainly Celery,
and Chocolate Chip by Stampin' Up
Inks: Memento Rich Cocoa, Espresso Truffle, Northern Pines,
Cottage Ivy, and Potter's Clay
True Thyme by Stampin' Up
Tools: Cuttlebug Embossing Folder
Embellishment: Hemp

  1. Beautiful image, sentiment, and card! Love the embossing on here too. Wonderful colors!

  2. Such a serene card and the sentiment is priceless and so very true! Wonderful inspirational card Lynn.

  3. What a fantastic scene! Beautiful combination of stamps and sentiment. Terrific card, Lynn!

  4. I remember this old SU! set! It was out when I first started stamping and I waited too long to get it! Gorgeous card!! I love it!!

  5. Oh, didn't that turn out well? I love the deer silhouetted against the sky and all the different layers of the backgrounds. Beautiful!

  6. What a great scene you created - and the new stamp is perfect for the bg. I especially like the silhouette on colored cs - I seldom think of doing that.

  7. Great card! Love the sentiment and the outdoor feel!

  8. Not only is it a perfect for the challenge, but it's a great masculine card.

  9. What an absolutely wonderful card. I love the sentiment you chose.

  10. Good reminder that I should go pull this card together myself and get started on the challenges! I love the way you made the BG paper for the dark green layer...and I have always loved this moose, great layers on inking.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today and leaving a comment on my work! I sincerely appreciate it!!
