Monday in the Kitchen

I decided to use Connie's fun KSS sketch (FSCC20) this week to finish up one more card for SCS's Virtual Stamp Night. For this particular challenge we were to create a girlie card with attitude.

by Kitchen Sink Stamps

Papers: Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose, and Early Espresso by Stampin' Up,
Crocodile by the Paper Studio, and DP by Creative Imaginations
Inks: Boots - 3 SU Crumb Cake, 2 SU Crumb Cake stamped off once,
1 SU Pixie Pink, 4 SU Soft Suede, and 5 SU Early Espresso
Hat - 3 SU Pixie Pink, 2 SU Pixie Pink stamped off once, 1 SU Pixie
Pink stamped off twice, 4 SU Melon Mambo, 5 SU Cherry Cobbler
Sentiment - SU Melon Mambo
Embellishments: Ribbon, Rhinestones, and Dimensionals

And now on to today's 10 Minute Card Challenge. These one layer cards were created using the emboss resist technique. I selected the most distinctive layer from each KSS set and stamped it on the white card front using Versamark. I then embossed the images with white embossing powder and sponged color over them. These are so easy and quick!! Each one took less than 5 minutes! If you decide to try one and add them to the Kitchen Sink Gallery, please include keyword 10MC21.

  14. I just love your Cowgirl Up Card, perfect for any cowgirl you might know, but the standout for me today was your 10min Cards. The embossing technique you used is just fabulous and I may just have to steal this idea to create some 10 minute cards myself. TFS.
