September Blog Hop - Angels Landing

Welcome, stampers, to the September Blog Hop celebrating the release of two new digital sets from Judi Maddigan of Angels Landing. If this is your first stop, you need to put on the brakes and make a u-turn to Judi's digi-stamps blog to start this trip at the beginning!

There is no season I love more than autumn!! Sometimes in Texas we have a wait a long, long time for it to arrive!! So I was thrilled to see that Judi had created these awesome autumn digital images to help me celebrate my favorite time of the year ( even if it hasn't arrived in Texas just yet)!

I created this card with Autumn Tweetings, one of the gorgeous new sets being released today by Angels Landing. I printed the image on white Georgia Pacific card stock and colored it with Prismacolor Pencils blended with odorless mineral spirits.

Papers: Garden Green and Riding Hood Red by Stampin' Up, Stamped Leaves by the Paper Studio, white Georgia Pacific card stock

Ink: Barely Banana by Stampin' Up

Tools: Scalloped Oval Nestabilities, SU Punches, Ribbon, Prismacolor Pencils, Odorless Mineral Spirits, Sponge

    Lynn, what a fabulous card to celebrate the coming of Autumn! You have such a wonderful way to showcasing all of Judi's images!

    Here in my parts, it's already feeling like Fall. But it's been warmer than usual for the past week or so. Send over some of that Texas weather my way so I can sunny days everyday *wink*! BTW, my grandparents live in Corpus Christi.

    I love this card! You did an awesome job to bring the feel of fall into it and looking at it makes me want to curl up in front of the fire with a warm mug of cocoa! Beautiful work!

    What a beautiful card Lynn, love the colors you've used, and the background is fabulous and that bow just sets it all off so nicely. Luckily for us we are experiencing an Indian summer, as our summer was terribly windy and cool....so it's about time.

    Lynn, you've sized that oval image to fit perfectly inside the scalloped Nestie. It was a nice touch to mount the digi sentiment the same way. You chose a lovely color palette for fall, and that yummy DP ties it all together.
