Kitchen Sink Monday!

Kitchen Sink Monday has rolled around again, and I had fun mixing a few of my favorite KSS sets together to create today's card.

I thought the glass bowl from 3 Step Bitty Tulip Bouquet would look great holding lilies as well.

In order to create this look, I stamped the lilies first. I then laid a post-it note over the top part of the flowers to sponge on a table top to show through the glass bowl. Then I was ready to add the bowl. To get the glassy surface, I created a reverse mask of the bowl and covered the area with Versamark. Clear embossing powder was added, and I turned on the heat gun! I then dipped it back into my tub of embossing powder for another coat and another and another. I think I ended up with five coats to get this thick glossy finish heating thoroughly and redipping after each layer before it could dry.

Hope you like the look!!
