Kelly McKown-Santi has another fabulous challenge this week for the CCEE Stampers. We are celebrating Roald Dahl Day! For challenge #1737, we are to create a card using any one of his books as our inspiration.
Back before I retired from teaching, there were years when I threw out the basal reader and based my entire reading program for my 4th graders on the amazing books written by Roald Dahl. My students honed and sharpened their reading skills on his delightful tales of fantasy including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peach, The B.F.G., The Witches, and Matilda. But their all time favorite of his books was his autobiography, Boy: Tales of Childhood! What a life he led and shared with children the world over!
