Create Your Own Designer Paper

Heather is hosting this week's Eyelets, Ribbon, Paper...Oh, My Challenge and has asked us to create our own designer paper. I have started this past week to get serious about having all my Christmas cards completed and ready to go by Thanksgiving so you will see quite a few turning up here! Today's card is #6 in my 2010 "designer" collection. I need about 70!

I reached for my Kitchen Sink Multi Step Ornament & Stars to create this background.

Here is now I stamped the ornaments:

Red - 4 SU Riding Hood Red, 3 SU Riding Hood Red stamped off once, 2 Memento Lady Bug, 1 Memento Lady Bug stamped off once, 5 SU Bravo Burgundy

Blue - 4 SU Bermuda Bay, 3 SU Bermuda Bay, 2 SU Bermuda Bay stamped off once, 1 SU Bashful Blue, 5 SU Handsome Hunter

Yellow - 4 SU Crushed Curry, 3 SU Crushed Curry, 2 SU Crushed Curry stamped off once, 1 SU Crushed Curry stamped off twice, 5 SU More Mustard

Purple - 4 Memento Grape Jelly, 3 Memento Grape Jelly, 2 Memento Grape Jelly stamped off once, 1 Memento Grape Jelly stamped off twice, 5 Versafine Imperial Purple

Stamps: Multi Step Ornament & Stars, 3 Step Bells (sentiment), and Multi Step Pine Trees by Kitchen Sink Stamps
Papers: Whisper White, Ruby Red, and Crushed Curry by Stampin' Up
Inks: Handsome Hunter, Bermuda Bay, Ruby Red, Crushed Curry, More Mustard, Riding Hood Red, and Bravo Burgundy by Stampin' Up, Grape Jelly, Dark Cocoa, Lady Bug and Cottage Ivy by Memento, Versafine Imperial Purple
Embellishments: Crystals

Stop in this morning and see what the rest of the crew has created for you today.

  1. I like this one! It reminds me of the wreath I once made with a styrofoam ring and assorted plastic ornaments from Target. The wonders of hot glue!
