Doodled Plaid Thanksgiving

The Technique Challenge at Splitcoaststampers this morning was to create your own doodled plaid to use on your card in some way. So I decided to give it a try on my Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored Thanksgiving card this morning.

I used washi tape and strips of paper to mask off the corner of the cardfront and brush on the orange ink. I then removed those strips and added new ones perpendicular to those and brushed on the brown. The last step was the doodled lines added with a fine tipped sharpie.

This card was created with images from Kitchen Sink Stamps' Turkey Trot Multi Step Clear Stamps. The three step turkey is so easy to line up and always looks so colorful and proud struttin' his stuff!

Color Recipe for the Turkey:

Layer 3 Memento Rich Cocoa (except for the wattle which is Memento Ladybug)
Layer 2 PaperTrey Ink Classic Kraft
Layer 1 Memento Peanut Brittle

This card is being entered in the following challenges as well:

International Art & Soul Challenge #45 Autumn Colors

  8. An attention-grabbing dialogue is worth comment. I feel that it is best to write extra on this matter, it might not be a taboo topic but typically persons are not sufficient to talk on such topics. To the next. Cheers mgm online casino
