SCS Free4All 478 - Horsing Around
I had time this morning to take part in the Free 4 All Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. I have had this Hampton Art Art Impressions Road Trip set for a good while, but it has never been inked before. I thought this "Horsing Around" Challenge was perfect for it because my niece and I decided this week that we will attend Junkie Fest in Minnesota in 2020. We will be flying instead of driving, but it will be a fun-filled road trip nevertheless!!

CCEE 1434 - Back to School
Back before I retired from the classroom, late August was always the most exciting time of the school year. Everyone was anxious to learn who their teachers would be and how many of their friends would be in their classes. Every child entered the classroom on the first day decked out in their favorite new clothes and staggering under the weight of all their new school supplies.
I have been retired for 10 years now, and I still miss the crazy, busy excitement of that first day of school, but tomorrow morning I will get to experience that excitement in a new way. I will be delivering my oldest granddaughter to college and helping her move into her dorm. We are starting out in the wee hours of the morning so we will have plenty of time to settle in after our 3 hour drive.
For this week's CCEE Challenge, Amber has us going Back to School! - She has asked that we make a card or item that can be given to the teacher at open house or first day of school.
My design is dedicated to elementary teachers everywhere. The love of reading established by devoted teachers has served my son and his children well. It is the key that opens the door to success for all children.
