Thinking About Christmas

Good morning, and thanks for dropping by today! 

I usually have a good start on my Christmas cards for the holiday season by this time, but I only have a handful of cards ready for this year. In my family, we have a couple of holiday traditions which take up most of my crafting time in December. I won't go into detail about that today, but between the two projects it means about 78 scrapbook pages for me to complete. If I don't have Christmas cards finished and addressed by Thanksgiving, I will be up a creek without a paddle.

So today for Kitchen Sink Stamps 10 Minutes and 10 Minutes more designs I have created Christmas cards using Gift Multi Step Clear Stamps. It is a great set for birthday cards and Christmas cards, as well. Now I only need about 50 more Christmas cards!

For this card I stamped the bow a second time, cut it out, and popped it up on top of the package. I also added a fleur de lis frame and a pretty jewel to dress up the package.

Today I wanted to create cards which let the new images shine on their own. The only exception today is in the 10 Minutes and 10 Minutes More cards where I did mix in layer 3 of the moon from Owl & Autumn Moon as a sun for my tropical paradise! But, of course, I am just itching to start mixing them in with all my other KSS images. Expect to see some fun combinations later this week!

I know you all have been anxiously waiting for a close look at the new Kitchen Sink images so I am going to share a flood of samples with you today. I just couldn't help myself.

These first two cards were created using Grizzly Bear Wishes Multi Step Clear Stamps. This great bear has a Santa hat, a party hat, and a ton of fun sentiments to create all kinds of great cards! I have designed a masculine birthday card and the first Christmas card to go into my 2013 stash.
