Use Your Wings
I am so glad that autumn is upon us! It is my favorite season. Today I am sharing a quick and easy design featuring designer paper from Simple Stories. The ephemera is a new package I picked up on sale at Hobby Lobby by the Paper Studio. The chipboard sentiment is by Tim Holtz.
The corners were rounded on the main DP panel and the ephemera, DP, and sentiment had their edges sponged with VersaFine Clair Pinecone.

Midnight Tales - Graphic 45
I created this fun Halloween design for today's Splitcoaststampers' Sketch Challenge #1027. No stamps or ink here. I used papers from Graphic 445/s Midnight Tales collection and cat dies from Impression Obsession.

You & Me & the Sea
Today's card was created using Sketch 1026 from Splitcoaststampers. It was created with some of my hoarded Graphic 45 papers from the Ocean Blue Collection. The beach babe is a die from Spellbinders but I used two circle punches to create a smaller hat so as not to cover the sentiment. The sweet little sand dollars were created with a very old, but treasured die from Cuttlebug.

Layered Stencils - The Ton
I sure had a lot of fun with these new layered stencil roses and leaves I purchased from The Ton! One of the things I love the most about them is that there are 7 different and separated roses on this stencil and one die which cuts them all out in one fell swoop! How neat is that!!
I used this rose and designer paper from the Paper Studio to create today's card.
All inks are from Altenew.

Peaceful Wishes
Today's card is my final Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design as a design team member since the store will be closing shop at midnight PST on Wednesday, July 31. I have had the remarkable pleasure of working with Maria and her amazing art almost from the beginning of Kitchen Sink Stamps. My first purchase from her was the classic Heart & Roses. Although KSS is closing, you will still see her beautiful images showing up in my work from time to time. Her realistic, layered images are themselves timeless. They will therefore never go out of style and will always be among my favorites. Thank you, Maria for the beauty and joy you have brought into my life with your exquisite talent.
Thank you to each of you who have followed by work here as well as at Splitcoaststampers and left such sweet comments. What a blessing you have been to my life.
I chosen to create with the Graceful Swan today since it is still in stock in the store. I know many people shy away from white images so I am including the color recipe I used to create the swan today. My main advice to you when trying to stamp a layered white image is to ALWAYS leave off Layer 1. Start stamping with Layer 2 in the palest gray you have and go up from there.
Using Altenew Inks
Layer 1 - omit this layer
Layer 2 - Limestone stamped off once
Layer 3 - Limestone
Layer 4 - Silver Stone
Layer 5 - Silver Lining
Layer 6 - Industrial Diamond
Layer 7 - Jet Black

Have a Beary Merry Christmas - Kitchen Sink Stamps
I checked this morning and found that there are still several Teddy Bear Wishes and two Things 4 Ducky & Teddy still available in the Kitchen Sink Stamps store as the closing date (July 31) draws near. I decided to use these two sets in today's KSS sponsored Christmas card design. I used a few birch tree trunks and a sentiment from Christmas Poinsettia. If you have an electric cutting machine, don't neglect to add the SVG cut files to your order. My bear was stamped on the SVG cut file designed for Teddy Bear Wishes.

You Make My Heart Sing! - Kitchen Sink Stamps
Many of you may not know this, but I am a huge country music fan. I am currently waiting anxiously for Amazon to deliver Luke Combs' new album, Fathers and Sons to my doorstep. Until then I will be listening to it on You Tube! With my husband's birthday coming this week, most of the songs on the album hold a great deal of meaning for me! I will be shedding many bittersweet tears!
So with country music as my inspiration this week, I have created this 5 x 7 design using images from:
Cowboy Hat - retired
I also want to let KSS fans know that after almost 17 years in business, Maria has decided to close shop as Kitchen Sink Stamps on July 31. From now until then you may use the following promo code to receive a 40% discount on all in-stock stamps. Get your favorites now before they are gone.

Two Celebrations - Kitchen Sink Stamps
There are two celebrations going on in my life this week! The first one is my youngest granddaughter's birthday She and her sweet husband have just returned from a Greek honeymoon so I have decided to create a Texas beach card for her big day! Our beaches don't compare to those on the Mediterranean Sea, but I hope she will get a kick out of it.
This Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design uses images from the following sets:
Beachcomber's Bounty
Rubber Ducky
I folded a scrap of designer paper to create the towel and added some sticker jewels to embellish the flip flops!

Hello Sunshine
I haven't used any of my adorable House-Mouse images is a good while, so decided to choose one to use for the SCS Sketch Challenge today. I mounted the image on a treasured piece of Graphic 45 paper from the Tropical Travelogue Collection. I watercolored the image using my SU reinkers. The sentiment is from Verve.
In addition to SC1013 at Splitcoaststampers, I have also entered this card in the House-Mouse Challenge #416 - Anything Goes.

Sea & Sand - Kitchen Sink Stamps
Texas temperatures are now in the 90s so, of course, my mind is headed to the beach! Today's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design features images from Lighthouse, Plumeria, Sailboats, Isle of Big Bay Lake, and sentiments from Beachcomber's Bounty!
I first stamped the Isle of Big Bay Lake on the blue card front and then added the torn paper land. After stamping the lighthouse, sailboat, and plumeria on cut SVG files, I attached them to the card front and added the sentiment.

God Bless Texas - Kitchen Sink Stamps
School is out and summer is on its way to Texas. Today's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored card features images from Classic Old Truck, Clay Pots, Bluebonnets, Stars & Stripes American Flag (God Bless), and Water Lilies (toad). The TEXAS was punched with the We R Memory Keepers word punch set! What a fun alphabet to create with! I threw together a quick watercolored background and stamped the images of SVG cut files also available at Kitchen Sink Stamps.
I don't know about you, but I am ready for a little road trip! It's time to get out of town and kick up my heels a bit! Now if I can just find an open day and an open road!

We Remember - Kitchen Sink Stamps
In just over two weeks' time, we will again be celebrating Memorial Day here in the United States. It is a day when we take time to remember and honor the brave men and women who have given their lives in service to our country.
Today's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design incorporates the United States flag from Stars & Stripes American Flag and poppies which have been used since the end of World War I to honor and remember fallen warriors. Kitchen Sink Stamps has two poppy sets: Remembrance Poppy and Poppy Bouquet, both sets were used in the creation of this card.
The greenery was stamped directly on the white cardfront. The poppies and the flag were stamped on SVG cut files which are also available at Kitchen Sink Stamps. The poppies were then glued over the greenery and the flag popped up on top. This is a 5 inch by 7 inch design.
This card has been entered in the following challenges this week:

Spellbinders - Classic Tales
I whipped out a dozen of these earlier this week using the Spellbinders Large Die of the Month - Classic Tales. Six of these cards will be used as masculine cards of encouragement while on the other six I added sympathy sentiments in the place of the scripture. I am so thrilled to have been a part of the large and small die of the month club for this past year! I can't wait to see the new release today!!
The embossed panel was created with kraft paper using the Crosses embossing folder from Darice.

Sunny Seas - Kitchen Sink Stamps
The Technique Lovers Challenge at Splitcoaststampers had participants using this tutorial to create an underwater scene with sunlight filtering through to the ocean bottom. So for today's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design I have created my scene with images from Giant Coral & Seahorse and Tropical Fish. I also used the SVG cut stencils Big Burst and Layered Fern to create the background using Distress Oxide Inks.
