CAS Big & Bold Christmas - Kitchen Sink Stamps

Today's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored card is a clean and simple holiday design.  The sentiment is from the newly released Big & Bold Christmas Greetings Clear Stamps while the ornament is from Ornament & Stars Multi Step Clear Stamps. I hung the ornaments from each S in Christmas with a die cut string from String Ornament by Poppy Stamps. In the past I have tied bows with cord as seen on this card, but the die cut version is much quicker and easier if you are mass producing a design.

I like the tall, slim look with these hanging ornaments and will probably made 10 or 12 copies of this card to add to my holiday stash.  I am also entering this card at the Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog in MLCCB#2 - September - Anything Christmas Goes.

Christmas Lights Oh So Bright

All of my Christmas cards went to the post office last week, but I usually receive a few cards from unexpected sources. I am creating these final cards so I won't be caught unprepared. Today I have pulled out Kitchen Sink Stamps' Multi Step Christmas Lights to use in creating these last Christmas cards of the season! It is my all time favorite Christmas set. For these cards I inked only the glass end of the bulbs and not the sockets.

Gifts for the Masses

I know that I am not the only one who has need of quick, simple, and inexpensive packaging for Christmas gifts for the masses (scout troops, homeroom classes, Sunday School classes, neighbors and the like). This week's Kitchen Sink 10 Minute Design #102 fills that need. I chopped the top off of brown paper lunch bags I got at the dollar store and stamped a quick branch and babble on each along with a holiday greeting. I then folded the top to the back and punched two holes for the ribbon. And truth be known, they take only about 3 minutes each. They don't even look that bad when you stamp on the wrong side of the bag. Just sayin'!

10 Minute Christmas Postcards

I don't know if you have seen these post card sized coasters, but they sure are fun to stamp and mail. They come 6 to a package and sell for $1.95 in the Kitchen Sink Store. The 45 cents it takes to mail it costs more than the card. How great is that!!!

For this week's 10 minute design I stamped four Christmas post cards.

Stamps: Christmas Lights Multi Step Clear Stamps by Kitchen Sink Stamps
Paper: Post Card Coaster
Inks: Memento Love Letter, Bahama Blue, Dandelion,
Lilac Posies, Tangelo, Pear Tart, and Cottage Ivy

I hand cut the stamp to make the socket and used a Copic marker to draw the wire.

10 Minute KSS Merry Christmas

My Christmas stash box is practically empty so I decided to get it in gear this week with Christmas cards for this week's Kitchen Sink Stamps 10 minute design. It took a couple of minutes to computer generate the Merry Christmas text and print it in colors I planned to use on my designs. I then added my stamped and matted KSS images over the text and added a matching mat to the panel before gluing it to the white card front. At this rate, I can have my box full in no time!

One Layer Reverse Mask 10 Minute Christmas Cards

This week's 10 Minute Card was inspired by this beautiful KSS design created by Julie Masse last week. Her wonderful layers couldn't be completed in 10 minutes so I have created this one layer Christmas version of a reverse masked design.

To achieve this look, I cut a triangle shape in the center of a piece of scrap paper and taped the resulting negative triangle frame to my card front. I then filled in the triangle space with wonderful KSS Christmas images. After removing the mask, I added a gold star and sentiment to complete the cards.

This is 10 Minute Card Challenge 49 for those of you who wish to play along. The keyword is 10MC49.

More KSS 10 Minute Christmas Cards

The weeks are flying by fast and furiously so I need to kick up the production of my Christmas cards if I plan to get them in the mail next week. I love all the beautiful Christmas plant images from Kitchen Sink Stamps. What classic beauties! I have used some of them on three of my 10 minute designs this week.

My favorite fast and dramatic background is dry embossing so I included it in this week's challenge. I then stamped a panel of  KSS images from edge to edge on the card and matted it with a sentiment panel. If you chose to design a card for this week's challenge, upload it to the Kitchen Sink Gallery and include 10MC48 as a keyword in your description.

KSS 10 Minute Embossed Christmas Tags

I have gotten an early start on my Christmas shopping this year, and I'm ready to start wrapping. Since I am in need of some Christmas tags to mark my packages, I decided to do 10 minute embossed tags for Kitchen Sink 10 Minute Challenge #45. The Cuttlebug adds quick and fun texture to any project. So pull out your favorite embossing folders and some KSS Christmas images and see what you can create. If you share your creation in the Kitchen Sink Gallery, be sure to include keyword 10MC45.

I ran the white Georgia Pacific through my computer to get the to and from printed on the tag. I then rounded the top corners and embossed each tag with a holiday embossing folder.
