Fruit and Vegetables

Here are a couple of challenge cards I did for Splitcoaststampers this week. The vegetable card was done for the week's Teapot Tuesday Challenge and was sent to encourage Donnie, a deacon and a gardener. The pear card is for today's Ways to Use it Challenge and I think it will make a great masculine birthday card!

10 Minutes + 1 Layer + Fruit = KSS 10MC73

Take 10 minutes, one sheet of card stock, and some Kitchen Sink fruit images to create a card for this week's Fruits of Summer challenge. I stamped the banner from Seed Packet, added a sentiment, masked it, and added some depth by sponging on some color around it. I ended up with a cute little set of summer note cards.

New Year's Resolutions

Today begins the second year of 10 Minute Card Challenges at Kitchen Sink Stamps! Can you believe it?

This week I am challenging you to use your 10 minutes and your Kitchen Sink Stamps to share with us some of your New Year's Resolutions. The keyword for those adding their project to the Kitchen Sink Gallery is 10MC53.

I have chosen to create some refrigerator magnets to help me keep my resolutions front and center each time I open the refrigerator. I plan to make better choices about what I eat as well as get more active with my walking and exercising. I got a Wii and Wii Fit Plus from Santa so I can have a little fun as I try to keep on track with my resolutions.

I used my computer to print my resolutions and my circle Nestabilities to cut out my layers. A strip magnet was attached to the back of each resolution.

KSS 10 Minute Fun

For today's 10 minute Kitchen Sink Stamps design, I used a 4 inch square white card, added a diagonal corner of colored card stock with the top edge punched with a border punch and a diagonal sentiment panel. The Kitchen Sink image  was stamped in the upper right corner of the card front. Should you play along this week and add your card to the Kitchen Sink Gallery, use keyword 10MC29 to identify your card for this week's challenge.
