Life's A Beach! - LSC220 - Splitcoaststampers
I created this card for the Limited Supply Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers today! The requirements were: beach images only, one sentiment, and one embellishment. Sea shells qualify as the ultimate beach image, I do believe so I pulled out my 3 Step Sea Shells by Kitchen Sink Stamps. The sentiment comes from Words of Love, another KSS favorite! As my one embellishment, I used Eucalyptus Stickles.
The ocean was created with torn layers of Baja Breeze by Stampin' Up. I sponged the top of the waves with Baja Breeze and the front of the first wave with White Craft Ink. I added the Stickles to the top of the waves.
The clouds were sponged with White Craft Ink as well.
Stamps: Sea Shells Multi Step Clear Stamps and Words of Love Clear Stamps
by Kitchen Sink Stamps
Papers: Soft Sky, Baja Breeze, Naturals Ivory, and Kraft by Stampin' Up
Inks: Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa, Cameo Coral, Elegant Eggplant, Baja Breeze, and Whisper White Craft by Stampin' Up
Embellishment: Eucalyptus Stickles

Lynn, this is beautiful! I actually bought some Kitchen Sink Stamps and this is one of them! I can't wait to use them and I am so glad I got to see them in use. I haven't used them yet. The waves you created are awesome.
ReplyDeleteI am still at work but amazingly enough, my ship went to Brownsville and of course I went home and brought gobs of stuff on board. I made Mother's Day cards and sold 7 to some of the crew!
Right now I am in Corpus Christi with an internet card! I am catching up on yours and Liz's blogs!
I should be back into the challenges mid to late June!
take care!! andi
Such a pretty card! Very unique and eyecatching.
ReplyDeleteThis card makes me wish I was on the beach right now. I love the sparkle! Great card!!
ReplyDeleteThere's just something about seashells that attract my attention. I guess it's the saltwater in our veins from living so close to the gulf coast all of our lives, you think?
ReplyDeleteThis is just dreamy!! I love how you created the waves and the glittered edges! How I wish I was on the beach right now *sigh*
