Paper and Ink

It seems lately that I have turned into a paper and ink girl. My ribbons and buttons and jewels are beginning to feel a little neglected, but I just can't seem to help myself. In addition to allowing the fabulous Kitchen Sink images to have center stage is the bonus of saving the extra 20¢ postage!

KSS Pear with SCS TLC477 - What's the Point?

I got a late start today on my Kitchen Sink designs so I took the opportunity to look in on the Splitcoaststampers' Technique Challenge for inspiration. TLC477 is titled "What's the Point?" and asked for pointillism to be used to create some of the background for the design. So in my 10 Minutes and 10 Minutes More design I used the extra 10 minutes to add the pointillism shadow below the pears and stamp some stripes for the background.  (Post sponsored by Kitchen Sink Stamps).

Today's Kitchen Sink design is very simple. The card is a 4.5 inch square topped with a slightly smaller square which has a hole die cut in the center. For the 10 Minute card, I stamped on the card front and popped the embossed panel over it. Spring Tulips

I got to take a little road trip up to east Texas this weekend and could not believe all the gorgeous flowers I saw. The wild flowers along the highway included bluebonnets, Indian paintbrushes, winecups, primroses, and crimson clover. I saw dogwood trees covered with snowy white blooms, redbud trees, and flower beds lined with tulips.
