KSS 10 Minute Monday - Fading Images

My thought for this week's 10 minute card was to stamp very pale and gentle images with a bold sentiment over them. For that reason I did not stamp a single image without stamping off the ink from the image at least once. Most layers were stamped off two or three times. I think this technique has possibilities. Honoring texasgrammy!

In my stamping lifetime, it has been an honor and privilege of mine to have the opportunity to meet and stamp with a number of Splitcoaststampers' Dirty Girls. It was probably about ten years ago by now that I traveled with friends to a north Texas Splitcoaststampers' gathering in Arlington when I met Bev, aka texasgrammy. She was so kind and lots of fun to talk stamping with.  I still remember the card she created for the swap. It had some cute SU handbags and bling!


Today I get the honor of casing a card from her amazing SCS gallery to honor her at Queen for the Day!

I cut my own light socket from an old stamp I no longer use to stamp over the end of the KSS light bulb so that I could create a string of lights. I connected the lights using a Copic marker.

KSS 10MC84 Birthday Cards for Guys

This week I have created 10 minute birthday cards for the guys in my life using images from Kitchen Sink Stamps. Yesterday while visiting Tuesday Morning I ran into a card maker's dream. They were selling 24 sheet packets of Graphics 45 designer paper for $3.99. The quality is excellent and although all 24 sheets are the same design, they are double-sided designs. I bought one of every style they had. The color palette in many of them is perfect for masculine cards.
