KSS 10 Minute Design 74 - Fun with Corner Punches

For this week's Kitchen Sink Stamps 10 minute design, I did a little playing around with my corner punches. The card size is 4.5 x 4.5 inches while the punched panel is 4 inches square. Instead of punching the corners, I punched in the center of each edge which resulted in a fun frame for my stamped images.

I have also thrown in a touch of hot pink with my PB&J paper, sentiment, and bow to include it in today's SCS F4A118 - Feeling Hot Hot Hot (pink that is!)

10 Minutes + 1 Layer + Fruit = KSS 10MC73

Take 10 minutes, one sheet of card stock, and some Kitchen Sink fruit images to create a card for this week's Fruits of Summer challenge. I stamped the banner from Seed Packet, added a sentiment, masked it, and added some depth by sponging on some color around it. I ended up with a cute little set of summer note cards.

KSS Ten Minute Monday

Another Monday has rolled around so that means it's time for a new Kitchen Sink Stamps 10 minute design. Today I have created a one layer design which allows the beautiful long-stemmed flowers to have center stage all to themselves. I cheated a little with the sunflower, hydrangea, and daisy by using the stem from Lilacs Multi Step Clear Stamps to get the height I wanted. It works for me!

After stamping the blossoms, I scored a 3/4 inch bar across the bottom of the card front from side to side jumping over the stems. I then masked that section and sponged a little color above and below it to make the added sentiment pop.

If you are inspired to use this design with your Kitchen Sink Stamps, please share your creation with our Kitchen Sink fans in the KSS Gallery and include keyword 10MC71.

KSS Ten Minute Challenge - Partial Framing

For this week's ten minute card, I created a partial frame for my Kitchen Sink images. I used my oval Nestabilities for my frames, but any shape would do. To add additional interest to the design, I embossed the colored frame and allowed the sentiment to spill out of the frame on the card front. Each of this week's cards features one of the newest KSS sets which were released last week.

Should you like to share what you create using your Kitchen Sink Stamps and this layout in the Kitchen Sink Gallery, be sure to include keyword 10MC70.

4 New KSS Sets and 10 Minute Challenge #69

Before we get to this week's KSS 10 Minute Design, I want to share some of the beautiful images being released today at Kitchen Sink Stamps. It was a real luxury for me to spend time playing with these gorgeous designs and to create a card or two that didn't take 10 minutes.

In addition to new stamps, Maria is also unveiling her new Rewards Program.

Buy 10 stamps of one size, get the 11th of the same size FREE.
Check out all the details by clicking the Rewards tab in the Kitchen Sink Store!

My first design today was created with Multi Step Mother's Cameo. This set is so perfect for beautiful and elegant Mother's Day cards. I paired it with some embroidered French lace and a sentiment from Whole Family.

And now we arrive at this week's 10 Minute Card design. As you know from seeing them everywhere in the paper crafting world, flags and pennants are hot right now. I decided to incorporate them into a 10 minute design before they are NOT!

This first 10 minute card was created with one of the humming birds from the final set being released today. This redesigned humming bird is much easier to layer and stamp than the one in the Year of  Thanks set. If you loved that bird, but couldn't master it, this set is for you!
